We went to the Santa Claus House which is about 20min drive from Fairbanks. It is a year round christmas store with all types of christmas decorations, and other christmas ornaments. There is also a Santa there all year round. You can even post a letter from Santas workshop in the North Pole. It is very cute and novelty. We... More

Ok, I've never, ever given anything one star before... but having spent $100 taking a taxi here and back, I really feel it deserves it! It's not cute, it's not Christmassy... it's just a house at the side of the highway. I'm not saying don't come here... I'm just saying don't expect much more than a vintage version of a... More

The town of North Pole does not live up to my expectations. It is a cute town with candy cane street lamps and each business is decorated for Christmas year round but everything is a little dated and run down. The piles need paint and the Sant Clause house matched the town. It was closed when we went by but... More

We came in the middle of winter and on a weekday so the actual shop was closed. That being said we probably spent 30-60 minutes here looking at the reindeer, ice sculptures and Santa clause house. Very cool spot. Worth the trip from Fairbanks.

Just a hokey Christmas gift shop. I was really expecting more. I am curious why there is halloween stuff in little corners all over the store? Someone needs to work on sprucing up their displays and help freshen the place up a bit. It looks tired.

Ok yes it is a tourist trap but come on it is adorable. Who doesn't want to believe in Santa again. Even us in our 30s can have fun here. So dont miss it if you are in the area.

Obvious tourist trap centred around Christmas, but it was nice to learn about the history of the place and the way it has evolved. Some interesting local artisan pieces.

North Pole city is small little town. They only open on weekend from 10 to 6 pm in winter. This house has a very cute houseful of gifts shop and Santa Claus chair to sit on for the photo op. Ice sculpture theme park too. complete childhood dream.
