It's fun to say you've been to North Pole...even if it is a village south of Fairbanks. I'm not a touristy kind of person, but it's a fun place where it's Christmas all year long.

I know Christmas has a lot of different meanings and emotions involved for each of us. The whole existence of a place like North Pole, Alaska is a testament to the deeply commercial side of Christmas that prevails in our culture along with the spiritual side. But it's nonetheless a whole lot of fun. Santa Claus House is a jam-packed... More

Want to meet the real Santa and his reindeer? Obviously he lives in North Pole. Santa always remembers the locals and he's pretty much the coolest. Also, it's a bit magic. There's cocoa, and fudge and every ornament you could think of. I lived in North Pole and I still loved going there.

We were warned but insisted on going anyway. I guess this place is good for the kids; take a pic with Santa, see the reindeer, buy a tshirt or ornament, get a letter from Santa mailed to that special child in your life postmarked North Pole. Other than that, it's just a very large shop filled with Christmas stuff. Sorry,... More

Some in our party thought it would be more fun than shopping. NOPE!! 100% shopping. Santa was there for photos, of course. Great variety of Christmas themed items to purchase. Finished the visit with a hot latte and homemade fudge. Don't miss the 8 reindeer next door; but it was daylight so we couldn't tell which one was Rudolph.

Visited Santa clause house with my cousin from England. What a wonderful warm experience. The staff are warm and welcoming. The store has every imaginable Christmas decoration. There is also a fudge counter with the most delicious fudge I have ever had. Santa was just like I imagined and even let us video a greeting to my cousins grand son.... More

I went here with family - including an infant. My thought was to just get it over with and cross it off the bucket list. Surprisingly, it was great! Lots of ornaments, but not as many as I'd expected. Highlight of the trip of course was Santa Claus. We totally lucked out as the baby was happy and Santa had... More

I've been to Alaska twice, and both times I made sure to include North Pole as one of my destinations, specifically for this business. You feel the excitement and happiness of Christmas in Santa Claus House no matter if it's June or December. In addition to the largest collection of Christmas ornaments I've ever seen, there is a wealth of... More

As we live in North Pole, we can always stop by and experience Christmas. But the best time to visit is definitely winter time. It was a quick decision, after having dinner in town, my 3 grandchildren and I decided to take a short break at the Santa Claus House. Well it turned out different. We spent about 1,5 hours... More

This a must stop in especially if you are travelling with children. Great place to pick up decorations to gifts. We were 3 men and still got sucked into the whole thing and spent way too much money…… Oh well its Christmas Merry Christmas To All……. All Year Round!
