I recommend to visit this place if you are looking for places to hang around nearby to Fairbanks. There is a public bus shuttle service too available which shall drop right in front of this place. Many of us when were young would have dreamt of this place and it does look as magical as we would have imagined. In... More

How can I possibly rate a place called the Santa Claus House average? Especially when it is in the North Pole!? I hated to do it but I felt like it was just a little too kitschy for me. Most of the massive amounts of Christmas items I felt were cheap or foreign made. I did love the few Peanuts... More

The town is literally called the North Pole which I didn't even know was real until we got there. The store is massive, with all kinds of Christmas related decor, with prices ranging from $2 - $$$. I wa disappointed not to have seen more glass ornaments, but I suppose that's because they're a bigger liability when knocked off the... More

If you are visiting the area (Fairbanks and nearby) it is worthwhile to drop by this specialty gift shop. It is Christmas here the whole year round. You can buy things related to Christmas with a dash of local color. Sending a kid a letter from Santa from the North Pole (!) will surely put a smile on his/her face.... More

I was expecting more of Santa Claus House than what I encountered. Somehow, I was expecting it to be a magical experience or have some "wow" factor. It didn't. Santa Claus Haus is a great big store with Christmas-themed things for you to buy. It's a tourist trap! There are a few trees in it that are decorated and Santa... More

Since I was last there. I think it is twice again as big as it was. The Christmas music plays all year. The tree ornaments and tee shirts overflow and the Christmas spirit continues to keep most people smiling. This is a fun stop. So, if you get bored after looking at all of the red and green read the... More

a true to life recreation we even got to meet Santa and his reindeers!! we did not have children with us but I imagine it would be a dream come true for little ones to walk into Santa's home brimming with Christmas trinkets, clothing and goodies. The attention to detail is phenomenal. The reindeers were in an encampment relaxing till... More

Santa Claus House has great gifts for all occasions. Every year we bring out kids to see Santa Claus during the holiday season. The lines can get really long the closer to Christmas. The fudge is amazing and there's plenty to shop for inside. Our kids also love the reindeer outside the store.

Even in the middle of summer when the days are 20 hours long, you should stop in the town of North Pole where it is Christmas 365 days a year! The street lamp posts are all decorated in red and white as candy canes, the streets are named after Christmas related names as Mistletoe Lane, St. Nicholas Dr.,Candy Cane Lane,... More

Wonderful, magical shop!!! Have plenty of for shopping. We went to shop 30 minutes before closing and wished we had more time. Loved that you could see post cards from shop. They will even hold and send at Christmas. Santa was away on fall break. Right next door are Santa's reindeer! What fun! Highly recommend stopping by shop
