Captain Al and his deckhand Flynn were first class all the way. Excellent boat, rods reels and bait. They knew where the halibut were and they knew how to put you on them. My wife and I plan to return and fish with Al again.

Captain Al made our trip- but 80 lbs of halibut was a nice perk! Took our 15 and 13 year old granddaughters deep sea fishing for the first time and the 4 of us limited. Captain Al knew where the halibut were- within 5 minutes after arriving at the "spot" the 15 year old had nabbed a 32+ lb. halibut. He kept the sometimes "aloof" 13 year old laughing and engaged and instilled confidence in her while she hooked her own big one! He has over 17 years experience. He told me the reason he does it is to create family experiences like we made that day- he truly loves what he does. Personable ,extremely knowledgeable, tells great stories. What else could a teenager do that lets them bring home 40 lbs of fish for their family- every time they eat dinner they can think about the adventure! Can't think of a more beautiful setting with the snow capped peaks surrounding Cook Inlet, gorgeous water. We have 10 other grandkids and hope we can bring each one out with Captain Al in years to come!

We had the best time clamming in the Cook Inlet with Captain Al and "Gotta Fish Charter". They were on time, informative and helpful while showing us the proper way to actually find and capture those clams. We had a wonderful day of weather, clamming and spending time with new people.

My fiance and I had a wonderful time with captain Al and his first mate Flynn. We have been on many fishing charters in the gulf of mexico and off the east coast. Just from the interaction Captain Al and Flynn had with our group made it the most fun. We were able to catch nice size under halibut and large over halibut. My fiance's halibut was close to 100 pounds. We came home with almost 75 pounds of halibut fillets. the fish processing at reel em inn was seamless and very fair pricing. This made it extremely simple for us to bring our catch back to the east cost. we also had two nights lodging at reel em inn which was also very reasonable and good hospitality. I highly recommend this charter and if we are back in Alaska in the future I will book a trip with Al again. thanks Dustin and Jordan
