The depot was closed when we came through town- most likely due to Covid. However, we enjoyed walking around the building, taking photos, and finding some decorated rocks people had left for fun. #FairbanksRocks! Great time!

Interesting place that encourages interacting with old railroad office equipment exhibits. Kids enjoyed trying out the antique phones. Great quick stop with friendly staff!

We stopped in the little town of Nenana just to stretch our legs. Looking for a place to park, we passed this little railroad Museum. The staff were friendly and the gift shop had souvenirs. The host told us about the Museum and the train schedule, which still runs.

Great little kid friendly stop. The museum is by donation. Small gift shop has local treats, a few souvenirs and refreshments to purchase. Stop and show some support to keep this piece of history open. It would be great to see this little gem grow and thrive.

Attempted to visit in early April, but the whole town seemed shut down. Then I reread the trip advisor reviews and discovered that everyone who wrote reviews visited in the summer. Using mobile version of TA, but there was no link to a website nor was there any info about hours. Too bad- it looked like a fun place to stop.…
