We went to the show in the morning, and it was wholesome good fun. You were placed in either the American or the Canadian team, cheering for these amazing and professional athletes who actually do this for a living. The show's absolutely hilarious and has (mostly) great competitive spirit. I understand it's on the expensive side and a generally a... More

There were 4 lumberjacks, 2 on each team, competing against each other to many events. They sawed logs, climbed poles, ran across floating logs, made a sculpture, threw axes, etc. It was a super show and kept the audience engaged. Loved it!

We went this show in the early afternoon. It is a show, but the participants are highly skilled with axes, rolling logs and the skills it takes to be a real lumberjack. They are professionals and have competed in professional lumberjack competitions. They divide the audience into two teams, (we cheered on the Canadian team, which ultimately won), then the... More

We had a good time at the Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show. It was pouring rain when we arrived in Ketchikan, so we decided to go to the early show to take advantage of the covered seating. The show itself is entertaining. There are four lumberjacks who complete a wide range of competitive lumberjack events. This includes chopping, sawing, climbing, and... More

We took in the Lumberjack Show and glad that we did. It lasted about an hour and was a great show of whit, skill and strength. The announcer kept the audience involved by dividing up sides to cheer for each team. Entertaining and impressive at the same time. Bottom line....it's not easy being a lumberjack.

We enjoyed the show but know in advance that it's more theater than a skill demonstration or true competition. They divide the audience in half and each side cheers for a two man team. The kids in the audience loved it. The athletes are obviously skilled; I personally would have enjoyed a true competition over the show but appreciate the... More

The Lumberjack show was fun way to end the day in Ketchikan. The skills demonstrated by the lumberjack will really wow you, especially if you are a city girl like myself. Watching men chip through an 20" diameter log in under a minute really gives you a different perspective. Great way to spend an hour of your time!

Very cheesy. Appeared to be rigged. Serves no beer. Just not worth the money and is a waste of time. Don't blow your money on this shore excursion. Skip it.

This show was good fun. Lots of audience participation and well worth seeing. The lumberjack make it all look easy but it could be very dangerous if they were not so proficient go see and enjoy a fun couple of hours
