We booked a custom tour with Wild Wolf Tours in Ketchikan before our recent Alaska Cruise. The owner, Tracy Wolf, a native of Ketchikan and owner of the tour company, led the tour for six adult family members. We wanted to see totem poles, eagles, bears, and salmon running. Saw everything but bears that day. Tracy shared lots of the... More

We travelled to Ketchican on the Alaskan Ferry, Columbia and we were picked up promptly on the ferry dock. We enjoyed our two scenic hikes with Tracy, owner and guide. She was professional, friendly and knowlegeable. We strolled through the Totem Park where Tracy shared information on the history and culture surrounding the totems. She is quite the story teller.... We were a family group of nine... ages 6 to 76. Tracy picked us up at the boat docks, asked a few questions if there was something special we wanted to do, and then we were off for a hike in the Tongass Rainforest. Tracy was very knowledgeable of the history and the forest, and was very good in engaging... More

We LOVED (repeat LOVED) Tracy's tour from Wild Wolf Tours. Tracy gave us a great history of Ketchikan (she's a native) as we drove to the Totem Village . We learned a lot about totems and the symbols and history/legends behind them. The ride to Tongass Nat'l Park was not too long and again, Tracy shared a lot of information... More

Wise shoppers should choose Wild Wolf and other land-based agents' tours over the ridiculously expensive ones offered by the cruise ships. Our guide Tracy, the grand-daughter of a native American and a white man in an arranged marriage, told us stories from her own family and showed us a hat and basket she learned to make in a traditional weaving... Our group of 6 was met at the pier by Tracy with a warm welcome. She first took us on a mile hike in the Tongass Rainforest. It was awesome and we were the only ones on the trail- talk about a private tour! Tracy even had the kids do some geocaching. Our next stop was a private totem pole... More

We booked Tracy as an excursion while cruising Alaska. Tracy was waiting at the arranged time for pick-up. The trail through the rainforest was beautiful! Well maintained. I took so many pictures. We had a small group of all ages. The children LOVED the scavenger hunt & geocaching. Tracy is very knowledgeable about the area and the plant life. She... More

We found this to be one of the best excursions we have done. A very informative trip. We learned about the local culture from our tour guide Tracy. She was amazing. We were also quite lucky because our tour group got see a black bear! It was quite the trip and well worth our limited time off the cruise ship!

I'm so glad to have found Wild Wolf Tours as an alternative to the cruise ship tours of Ketchikan. Our group of 11 travelers, ages 6 and up, wanted to experience the beauty and history of the city without being tied down to a large tour bus group schedule. Tracy made the decision easy by customizing a tour just for... More

Tracy was an awesome guide. She had great historical info about the area and Alaskan traditions. We saw bald eagles and salmon and walked through the forest.
