Eco Tour including Nature Walk and Hiking expeditions in the rainforest of Ketchikan, Alaska. Venture out among the giant Sitka Spruce, Hemlock and Cedar trees and walk along a beautiful creek to a rushing waterfall on trails in the Tongass National Forest. Escape from the crowds, breathe fresh air, and enjoy the natural beauty. Experience the largest National Forest and see areas very few visitors get to enjoy. Sample Seaweed (Alaskan Popcorn) a unique treat prepared by natives. Next journey to a Totem Park, where you will see magnificent Totem Poles and a Clan House. Your local native guide will share their heritage and stories about the Tlingit, Haida, and Tsimshian Alaska Native people. This is a family friendly tour - ask about our scavenger hunt or try geocaching. We also offer custom tours. Small groups of 10 guests or less allow us to provide a quality personal experience.

I'm so glad to have found Wild Wolf Tours as an alternative to the cruise ship tours of Ketchikan. Our group of 11 travelers, ages 6 and up, wanted to experience the beauty and history of the city without being tied down to a large tour bus group schedule. Tracy made the decision easy by customizing a tour just for... More

Tracy was an awesome guide. She had great historical info about the area and Alaskan traditions. We saw bald eagles and salmon and walked through the forest.

We booked Wild Wolf Tours instead of using the Cruise ship excursions. We got the exact same excursion for less price AND arrived to the Totem Bight Historical Park and to the Tongass National Rain Forest BEFORE all the other tourists. It was like having the entire place to ourselves! Tracy was exceptionally knowledgeable with wonderful stories about Alaska, even... More

Great Choice In Ketchikan... Tracy of Wild Wolf Tours was the best guide we could have hoped for. Her 4 hour private tour focused on a 1 1/2 mile walk through the Tongass National Rainforest with an unreal amount of vegetation and several authentic local native exhibits. The place was like a greenhouse on steroids and showed you don't need... More

We went on a private tour on July 8, 2016. Tracy met us at the port at the promised time. She was very patient with us. She answered all of our questions thoroughly. We didn't feel rushed at all. She fed us some delicious salmon dip and plenty of it. At the end of the tour, she even dropped us... More

Our family was cruising on the Norwegian Sun and decided to save ourselves some money... Upon inquiry with Tracy, the owner, she said that we had enough in our group, for a private tour! Cool! We had my husband and I and our kids ages 15, 11 and 9, as well as my parents. Tracy met us at the pier, which... More

Tracy was a wonderful guide. The tour took place even though there was just the two of us. We went on a lovely hike in the rain forest, along a small river with some water falls. Tracy was knowledgeable and helpful. I have some minor mobility issues and this hike was fine. Then we went to the totem park and... More

I found this tour company when searching for Ketchikan tours on various websites, including this one. I had been to Ketchikan once previously. I only walked around the town in the pouring rain and was not impressed. This time, I wanted to see something besides stores carrying merchandise made in China. We booked the tour about 3 months before the... More

If I were reviewing this tour of the totem park and rain forest based upon how nice the guide Tracy was, I would give it the highest rating. One of the deficiencies of trip advisor reviews is that there is a tendency not to leave negative reviews for very nice operators of Mom and Pop businesses. Although many people may... More

I believe our rain forest is an amazing area to explore with all the old growth trees, moss blanketing the forest floor, cascading creek, beautiful waterfall, gorgeous ferns and berry bushes. We are part of a temperate rain forest which is unique. Many of our guests are trying to get out into nature and escape the crowds of downtown. For... More

We were able to see the totem park and rain forest without being lost in a huge group. There were six of us plus the guide. We only saw one other person on the rain forest walk. This 3 hour Wild Wolf Tour was one of highlights of our 7 day cruise.
