The scenery was breathtaking! Our pilot Kevin was fun and informative and made the trip so enjoyable! We even landed on a lake for some time to enjoy our surroundings. It was an amazing excursion and makes the views of Katchikan breathtaking! well worth it

My husband, brother-in-law and I were on a plane with a family of five. Our pilot was very unfriendly and said very little on the entire trip. He did not give us information about the area and never mentioned anything about wildlife. We spent the whole trip listening to the children of the family talk, sing and make jokes. It... More

We landed at the port in the morning and have booked this six seater float plane adventure trip well in advance. The immediate disappointment was the weather which turned cloudy , misty and we were not sure that we will fly. But we got lucky an hour later and the weather cleared up for us to experience some most adventurous... More

July 8, 2016 This was an amazing experience. Loved it!!! The take off and landing was much smoother than on land. The bigger plane allowed us to get out of the usually path and we landed on the lake for a while beside a waterfall. The pilot talked to us and played regular traveling music when not talking. But than... More

A terrific day, beautiful views and a great plane ride. We were very glad we took this tour, the company is well run and safety conscious. We landed in a remote lake and stepped out onto the pontoons/floats to enjoy the beauty. While we were doing that and eagle flew over us! Misty Fjord is a great untouched part of... More

This trip was excellent. I did several flight seeing tours in AK (Denali, Girdwood and Katmai) and this was different and unique. I would highly recommend this company. Their airplanes are well maintained and the pilot we had was excellent. Worth the money.

We did the Misty Fjords Air & Outfitting seaplane tour as a last minute add on to our cruise, but what a happy addition! This is an experience that will resonate for a long time. We were able to get our seats for $200 each by walking out of our ship, and across the street to where all the tour... More

To quote my 10 year old nephew, "not really much to see up here but the mountains, the trees, and the water." Well, Captain Obvious, you are pretty well correct. But boy did he understate the views! Pilot wasn't particularly talkative but have good information. The plane has earphones to dampen the engine noise and was playing calming music for... More

Started with a 3hr boat ride to Eddystone Rock which was very nice but long. This was our 3rd and last tour of our trip and although it was beatiful it was just TOO MUCH ALASKA by boat at this point. However we did LOVE the floatplane ride back which was way too short !! The floatplane was called and... More

While it looks like you had a good time on your tour, unfortunately it was not with us as we only operate float planes. I believe your tour was with another company, based on the picture it looks like Taquan Air. Thank you for taking the time to write the review and helping Trip Adivsor's community grow! More
