I was met at the wharf from the cruise ship and driven out to the Alaska Seaplane Dock where I met Van the pilot who proceeded to run over safety issues and then we boarded and took off. After a few minutes flight he suggested we change course and head across the mountains (which were spectacular) as the view of the... We actually rented the Beaver and the Cessna as we were 4 guys flying into the Forest Service cabin in Kegan Creek. We had a lot of stuff...probably a worlds record amount! Hence 2 planes. I flew with Van in the Cessna and my buddies flew with another pilot in the Beaver. What a blast! Van was very entertaining and... More

We were met in the information centre just by the side of the docking area for the cruise ships and taken to the jetty ready for our flight. Staff were great and there was nothing that I could complain of. Our pilot took every opportunity to find bears, which is what we wanted to see but alas we saw none... More

My daughter (school aged) and I booked a seaplane as a second excusion trip while in Ketichkan. I wanted to see Misty Fjords and New Eddystone Rock. The trip was absolutely breathtaking and incredible. Our pilot, Steve, was great and really made us feel comfortable, we were both a little nervous as we had never been on a smaller plane... More

We paid for a glacier tour. Their website stated that if we were not able to see the glacier due to cloud cover, which happens, we would be given a partial refund back to the lower rate tour. This happens and we were not given that refund even after contacting them. Instead, after stopping, our pilot decided he wanted to... More

My husband and I did a "Misty Fjords" seaplane tour in early September on our honeymoon - it was nothing short of amazing! Totally worth it if you're debating spending the money...you won't regret it. The scenery was like no other, and the staff was great also. From our shuttle driver to the manager that day (Marty I believe), to... More

Very smooth transaction when booking online allowing you to choose date and time you want to go. Immediate confirmation and on arrival in Ketchikan our driver was ready and waiting for us. Pilot took us out over loads of small inlets where we were lucky enough to see a bear! Also saw some seals in the water and had a... More

What a wonderful way to see Ketchikan, the fijords, nature and more!! This was such a great decision. Marty Rush could not have been more helpful! He was knowledgable and so helpful -- made it an easy decision to get a tour. Our pilot and guide was great too -- I just cannot remember his name. I took a tour... More

The whole floatplane experience was pretty cool. But the time out on the ground seemed kind of short especially compared to the wait around time before and after. We landed at a place kind of like a hatchery so I did not really have the feeling we were out in the wilderness. A bear did show up there. And while... More
