Amazing tour! Breathtaking views and beautiful scenery. I think our tour guide and pilot was named Jim and he took us to this remote and quiet lake for a quick break. Excellent pilot and very knowledgable of Alaska! I would recommend this tour to everyone!

We had a beautiful flight with Van and got to land and get out twice to check out the islands. No bears but that's the luck of the draw. We had pretty misty conditions and he clearly worked pretty hard to give us the smoothest ride he could. Gorgeous way to see the area!!

I was on a Holland America cruise and had a limited time in port. We booked the flight before the cruise. The driver showed up early and was perfect - knowledgable, attentive, and laid back. We arrived at their seaplane facility promptly and were in the aircraft a few minutes later on our way to see some bears. The flight... More

Its not cheap but for a magical experience take the seaplane tour of the Misty Fjords. As a culmination of our trip to the Rockies and Alaska it would be hard to beat.

We took a seaplane with our pilot Can on the Misty Fjords Bear Watching Trip. 30mins flight time with amazing views. Pilot went out of his way so we could see the mountain goats. We then landed in an area where he had spotted a mother bear and cubs earlier that week. After standing around on the edge of the... More

Great experience and customer service. It was a beautiful ride, we were not able to spit any bears but just the enjoying the view and the surroundings was amazing! The pilot and the entire staff was extremely nice and helpful at all times.

I booked the this excursion for my dad and I yesterday afternoon and it exceeded expectations. The pilot picked us up right from the docks or our lodge and took off towards the Misty Fjords. Along the way, he pointed out the fresh water lakes, goats, notes elevation of the surrounding mountains and answered all of my dad's questions (he... More

Our experience was very disappointing. The pilot didn't even introduce himself and really never spoke to us. After we landed there was really nothing to see and the pilot just kind of took off not caring if we wanted to walk in the water or not. He could have been looking for wildlife, but if so, I didn't know. We... More

As the owner of Alaska Seaplane Tours, I would like to respond to a few of the criticisms made in this review. Firstly, we hand pick our pilots and take great pride in their professional quality as well as their pilot safety. Safety is of the utmost importance to us, and so it is of the pilot’s discretion when in... More

We booked this tour, hoping it will be a good way to see the Alaska forest at Ketchikan. We were extremely pleased by their service. They do pickup also, which is great since we came there thru Norwegian cruise. Very polite and punctual. My friends also booked thru them and they loved it too. My daughter even spotted a few... This outfit did a wonderful job. After approximately 80 minutes of flying time with a water stop midway through the trip to observe a brown bear and to feel the outdoor elements, we continued the trip back towards our water-landing. The pilot was top notch and provided straight forward commentary of the surrounding water features and forests. Unfortunately, we only... More
