We had called when we were in town to see about whale watching. We got the owner and he told us they had spotted one earlier. We booked the afternoon trip and we were lucky enough to watch a female feed a dozen or so times. The boat was very clean and the staff super friendly and knowledgeable. Even if we would not have seen the whale it would have been a great trip.

Can't say enough about this excursion, Jessi (Captain) and Patrick ( 1st Mate)were great guides on this trip, when we booked this we were not sure what to expect. Jessi called us early and said he had spotted a pod of orca's about 5 miles up the channel and wanted to know if we would like to go early and chase these orca's , of coarse we did ! We found the pod of orca's with no problem, he drove straight to them , 12 in this pod . We watched them for a while and moved on only to see two humpback's trying to run away from the orca's as they don't play well together. Jessi and Patrick took us to an island where there was an eagles nest (HUGE) Patrick called an eagle in and we got to see it up close as he fed it some haring. Jessi took us and showed us some of the area and 3 more big eagle nests in which we got to see close to 30 eagles as Patrick called them in with a bucket of haring. On our way back we caught up to the pod of orca's again and watched them play before returning to shore . Amazing day and amazing Memories with Jessi and Patrick cant thank you enough !!!

Jesse is the greatest. He takes the time to chat with each of his guests and provides excellent customer service. He pointed out and explained in detail the wildlife, monuments, geography and answered all my questions on the area! His boat is spotless and he has everything you need! He can customize the experience based on your needs and is extremely flexible in the process. Give him a call and he can make your dream trip come true.

Misty drove a Ford van around Kechikan for my whole family (10 of us). She was very nice, easy to talk to, and very well informed. We learned about the area, some history, about making totems, etc. Just a great use of an hour and a half. Thanks Misty and Eagle One.

Jesse and Melanie are quick to respond to our inquires. They are very attentive to our needs and offer a more personalized excursion experience for us. Morgan who welcomed us at the check-in counter is a warm and beautiful young lady. Even though the weather wasn't very nice that day, we still enjoyed the excursion very much, thanks to the Eagle One family.

We arranged this tour via Viator 36 hours before arriving into Ketchikan. Jesse texted us with available times within minutes of booking and we managed to get everything arranged before we lost cell service after leaving Skagway. When we arrived into Ketchikan, Jesse sent his deck hand to come and collect us and take us to his boat. As it turned out we were the only ones booked for our timeslot so Jesse basically gave us free run of the boat, including sitting up with him which we did. Jesse gave us a great background to Ketchikan and the surrounding areas as he took us around looking for seals, bald eagles and of course whales. Unfortunately we didn't get to see any whales, but we did get to see seals, lots of bald eagles and salmon jumping out of the water, preparing themselves for the upcoming spawning season. Although we didn't get to see whales, Jesse made the tour really interesting and we would happily take his tour again on our next visit to Ketchikan. On top of that he also gave us some excellent advice on where to eat and places to see in town after the tour.

Jesse and Steve are outstanding guides and really know how to show their customers a great time! They bend over backwards to make sure you have a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and they don’t disappoint! I have been out twice with them, and will continue to highly recommend them to our friends and family.

We thought this excursion would be canceled because it was raining so hard and the waters were so rough. The captain was very nice and knowledgeable but I feel that considering the weather that we should have been offered an alternate time or a cancelation. There was no way to see whales or any other sealife with the heavy rains and huge waves. Our daughter got very sick from the motion of the boat in the high waves. I would definitely consider the weather in that area at the time you are visiting before booking.

This was such an amazing whale watching tour! We saw so many orca, whales, bald eagles and the crew was amazing - Captain Jesse and Deckhand Kaylee!!! We arrived in Ketchikan with my now-fiancé and our family as we were on a stop during our cruise. When we were finishing up the tour, the crew worked with my fiancé to help coordinate a surprise proposal!! They pretended we were having some engine issues to get my attention away from my fiancé getting ready to ask the question. It was a memory I’ll never forget!
