We absolutely love going to Nikiski Pool. We always have a great time. However, the website does not give enough information for travelers. For example, Nikiski Pool will only accept cash or checks. They do not accept plastic. The website does not tell you that toddlers must wear swimmer diapers and wear a plastic covering. Not listed on the website,... More

Decided to take the drive because daughter is in town and I just wanted to see what it offers. This place is pretty big. 10-11 foot deep end with diving board, large slide, and swimming lanes. I was in heaven when I got there. The lifeguards are alert and doing a fine job. A guard myself...I was well picky and... More

This pool is awesome! Not only is it clean, but it has a separate "small kid" area, but it also had a few lanes for "family / open" swim, two lanes for lap swimmers, a diving board and a waterslide. The locker rooms were clean, and we enjoyed our visit here. I would definitely call to check the hours but... More

I love this place. I spend most mornings there. The building the pool is in is a dome . All the way around the bottom of the dome is windows. A magical place to catch the sunrise. People can't believe that this area has such a wonderful pool. there is a water slide and hot tub. The pool is separated... More

A neat water park pool that I enjoy on those rainy days. Worth the visit but call ahead for open swim hours!

This is a great pool to go for a swim. Lap lanes, diving pool, diving board, water slide (additional charge), hot tub. Men's and women's changing rooms with lockers (one time use/non-refundable), showers, restrooms and a family changing room. If you're not going to swim but watch your kids there is a seating/viewing area. BEWARE....if you come on a Saturday... More

What can I say? I would swim here everyday!! As it was, it's a 12-mile drive, but worth it. The water is a comfortable warm, unlike the high schoo in Ketchikan. The people there are nice. And I adored the hot tub. If you're overweight, don't worry! Jump in the water. No one is there to judge you. They are... More
