The goal of our Alaskan cruise was to rest and to experience the local flavor, and the Glacier Salt Cave and Spa was a great decision! My adult daughter and I spent over three hours in the salt cave and received an hour of reflexology each and an hour mud wrap each, finished off with a salt scrub. We also had a foot soak and spent time in the infrared sauna. Bree was incredible and we left there feeling so relaxed and refreshed! As a local she also gave suggestions on her local favorite foods to try while we were in port. The Spa has two separate massage rooms and the salt cave where we had our treatments. We were the only ones in the spa that day! The personal attention, atmosphere, and serenity were far above what we would have received on the boat, and the price was quite reasonable.
If I am ever in the area I will definitely visit again! Make an appointment when you are in Juneau! You will not be sorry!

My dad and I both got massages here while in a 5-day trip to Juneau. The location, staff, and spa are lovely. Our massage therapist (Terri ?) was kind and experienced with her craft. The salt cave is really wonderful, though we didn’t use it, but I did get a tour.
If you need some relaxation, I highly recommend going here. It’s also conveniently located right next to Coppa, a quaint coffee shop.

Glacier Salt Cave and Spa is a great experience if you need some relaxation from your hectic travels. It will boost your immune system and reset your start button. Just relaxing in the warm ambient atmosphere surrounded by Hymalyan Salt walls and a floor covered in granulated salt is a reminder of the beach. Breathing the fine salt mist clears the lungs, sinuses and mind. I felt a since of renewal coming out.

I was in Juneau for vacation and heard about this place. I was curious about it. Jet lag and a stuffy nose made this place a priority stop. I was blown away. The salt walls are beautiful, truly amazing! I didn't want to leave. The employees were very helpful. I left there feeling rejuvenated and my sinuses unplugged. I bought a jar of Sole' for the health benefits and now I want a salt lamp. I love salt therapy!

Megan gave a lovely massage however before beginning she asked something like 'would you like a relaxing or deeper massage' - both my sister and I opted for the deeper massage. When we paid we were shocked to learn it was approx. $US20 more each for the deeper massage. This was not mentioned at all prior to the massage and looking at the website I still don't know which massage we had, just that it cost a small fortune, particularly with added tax (we were also not aware of this) and that we gave a tip, which doesn't happen in Australia, but we believe is expected in the US. The total bill for a one hour massages and half an hour in the salt cave came to $A187 each.

Very friendly staff. The masseuse was very professional and very good. Calm and relaxing environment. I would highly recommend the salt cave for massages or just to sit back and relax.

SaltCave visit last week. First time I've ever been to an indoor salt beach.
- Halotherapy is said to be able to reduce various symptoms of different conditions among a few are; allergies, stress, respirtatory problems, ear infections, and arthritis. It can also help strengthen your immune system along with other positive benefits. I'm all for positive and less negative healthwise. Anything I can do to help improve my health is worth doing.
Who knew having your toes in the salt and breathing it in could help you feel better?
They play soothing light music , and the salt walls have a slow paced changing color light show in the back that lulles you to relax and drift off.
They have an hour for $39, and 20 minutes for $20 seasons available. They even have a masseuse on hand and a mini massage room. I went for the 20 minutes for my first time. Will do an hour next time. Inside you aren't allowed to have a cell because it could emit negative ions in the air. Always a good thing to let your cell phone have a break for a few.
I took my pic from the doorway quickly , didn't want to ruin the positive vibe of the room. I chose to partake on my Friday after work. Have to say after a long week, this was definitely needed , onward to a relaxing weekend. I bought a salt lamp on the way out. I've wanted one for years. They'd make a nice gift for someone, Christmas is coming up!
This is a safe, fun, recommended relaxing 20 mins of your Day or week. I say give it a try!

We had a family reunion in Juneau and a definite highlight was the session in the salt cave as a group. Perfect environment to hang with loved ones, breathe in clean air, watch the kids play, and...relax. Everyone of us left with a smile on our face! Wow, it's simply beautiful!

I feel very rested after visiting the Glacier Salt Cave. The soothing music and soft lighting of the salt brick walls made it easy to meditate and unwind after a busy day. I enjoyed the feeling of the salt on my feet and noticed warmth radiating from the floor. If you don't want to feel the salt on your feet there is the option of leaving white socks on, but the salt on the floor is reminiscent of sand on the beach. It turns out there was another couple there with my husband and I and we all commented on how relaxed we felt after our hour long session and that we all would enjoy going again.

First massage from Bri. Booked my next before I left. I've had many massages and do not lightly say "great massage." Bri was excellent- inquired about me preferences and had great technique. She is strong and really worked my muscles. Relaxing, lovely massage room. Heading back to check out the salt cave soon.
