Juneau Wildlife Whale Watching & Mendenhall Glacier

315 reviews
Enjoy the best of Juneau's nature and wildlife on this unforgettable half-day tour. Be amazed by the 13-mile (21-kilometer) Mendenhall Glacier, and take to the water on a whale-watching cruise. As well as humpback whales, there's a good chance of spotting bald eagles, blue heron, and other animal and bird life. This is a must-do activity for travelers who appreciate the grandeur of nature.

My wife and I enjoyed visiting the Alaska Shirt Company. The store is much more than a shirt company, with most any item your standard tourist is looking for (and which fits in your luggage to take home!). Their T-shirt and baseball hat combo for $12.99 was a great deal - we purchased two. We also bought candy bars for an upcoming fjord cruise, as well as a necklace for my wife. It is conveniently located on the southern-most section of Franklin street, across the street from the harbor visitor center where the cruise ships embark/disembark from. Compared to stores we visited in Fairbanks, North Pole, Denali, and Seward, Alaska Shirt Company had the best prices.

Alaska Shirt company is a lovely shop. Although it is called a shirt shop,It has many things available for purchase. This shop is also a very nice place to get souvenirs. Most of the people who visit these shops are tourists from the Cruise ships. Therefore this shop is always crowded. As it was almost the end of the cruising season, there were lots of bargain sales. Enjoyed very much, the shopping here.

My niece had been to Juneau several years ago and told me to hit this place up. We were really impressed by all the things that the store had to offer.

We were one of the last cruise ships for the season to get in there so we were able to take advantage of end of season clearance. This place was packed and the employees were kicking butt. Very nice people with all that chaos is appreciated. The deals were unbelievable, so don't forget to stop in.
