Traveling on a cruise ship; this was a great way to learn about Juneau, and of course Alaska. The food tastings were very flavorful, our guide Margaret introduced us to the Alaskan culture, we enjoyed hearing the local stories of this charming town and the life of the people. We highly recommend tihs food tour in Juneau to travelers of all ages. Thanks a lot to Margaret our guide for making our day very pleasant and special thanks to Midgi the tour owner for the pleasant surprise she prepared for us. We had a great time.

Not to be missed!!! Fantastic walking tour with Alaskan cuisine. This quaint city has some hidden gems and the waterfront area is a beautiful backdrop to taste your way around. No waiting in lines, just sip and savor and stroll along soaking everything in. The foodie in you will be truly satisfied.

We went on a tour with Kim and it was entertaining, informative and delicious! We appreciated all the knowledge, history, and tastings we experienced and heard about. The walk did us good and gave us a very complete idea of what we could do when in Juneau as well as sample some of the local fare. The possibility of buying some of the goods we tasted was also appreciated. Only thing to be aware of is if you only have carryon bags the small jars of 130ml will not pass through customs if you are going back to Canada. Overall, money for this tour was well spent.

Our guide Jamie was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and truly wanted us all to have fun while learning about the Juneau local food scene.
This was an independent cruise shore excursion for 12. I don’t think a larger group size would be good. We tasted a wide variety of Alaskan seafood. All of which was excellent while hearing stories of fishing and living in Juneau

This is a must do when visiting Juneau. Brad, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable about Juneau’s history and didn’t seem to mind taking pictures of our group. He also made some really wonderful suggestions for drinking, dining, and shopping. One of the highlights of our trip.

Our tour guide Brad was amazing! The tour was very personalized, full of information and the food was incredible. We learned so much about Juneau, its history, and Brad answered all our questions. Our favorite foods were the hot smoked salmon and crab bisque. I highly recommend this tour if you’re stopping in Juneau. The company was so easy to work with and this tour was the highlight of our time in Juneau!

What a great food tour! Cindy has lived in Juneau for 20+ years and introduced us to her hometown. We ate smoked salmon 🍣 canapés, crab cakes, crab chowder, smoked fish dip, caviar, halibut ceviche, and more smoked salmon along with local cocktails.

We did the food tour on our first day in Juneau (we did not do a cruise). We had a wonderful guide. It gave us a chance to see where things were in the town, provided some history of Juneau, and supplied us with food! Doesn't get better than that!! The selection of food was great. Food tours always give us a small taste of local food; and in the end, you are completely full! We went back to some of the places during our stay in Juneau. My husband and I recommend this tour. You won't be disappointed.

Buyer beware! Did the prohibition food tour and were scammed. $130 p/p and nothing authentic. 3 stops and a lady showing us pictures from a book. Impoible for our group of 10 to hear anything she said. Indian restaurant with 1/2 glass f wine and two small appetizers for 10 people to share. Second stop overcooked salmon at a Korean and Mexican fusion with a cup of champagne. Final stop(thank goodness) a bar for a manhattan which was good and a small piece of Chocalate. Pathetic waste of time
