Best Shoe Store EVER!!

Who would think that this L.A., Phoenix, and Idaho girl would find her favorite shoe store in Juneau, Alaska? I've been there on five cruises now and every time I head for Shoefly. Fabulous, unusual, quirky, lovely, quality shoes. This trip I bought a pair of glorious leather boots for the fall. Had them shipped. Staff are wonderful. Shop is small but packed with delights. Hey, I'm not even a shoe person but I can't help myself in this place. Beware - it is addicting.

Our Cosmo tour director, Brad Noyes recommended this store. We found it, very nicely set out store. I was looking for dressy shoes for my granddaughter to wear to a wedding. The three ladies were ever so helpful and they’d just received a shipment of girls shoes so they went through it and found a few hopefuls. The tracing I’d done of her foot narrowed the choice to one, so I bought them. I’m home now and she loves them, they look great . Thank you so much for the great service.

ITS WORTH TRAVELING TO ALASKA JUST TO GO TO SHOE FLY !!!

I was munching down some delectable crab legs at my favorite water front restaurant In Juneau when my servers shoes stopped me mid bite. The style was stunning and I had to have them ! She informed me to continue up the street to a little store called "Shoe Fly". I was pre-warned that her shoes were sold out in black, but they still had green. They were unique and I had to give it a try. Green - not so great on me. The amazing young man who worked there put a hand on his hip, went into a thoughtful trans as he did a quick scan of my persona. Very confidently he said, "I have a few things I know you will love". After a quick sweep of the store he presented me with 3 choices. In fifteen minutes I was striding out of Shoe Fly in a new pair of Alaska chic boots. As I floated down hill in my gorgeous foot wear he dashed after me only to stoop down and water proof them before I took another step in the rain. Besides their great aesthetic appeal the internal padding was like nothing I had ever felt before. As a rule, I only buy good quality shoes. An added bonus - my boots are easy to take on and off. I live near Pasadena CA and thanks to the good weather God this year we had an actual Winter season. Yes, I have lived in my boots. Twice I found myself asking women in my neighborhood where they got their very interesting shoes from. Both times their answers were, "Shoe Fly - Juneau Alaska. I dream of what I will find there next !

Where is the stuff actually made?

Are the shoes and clothes made locally, or even in the US? Given there's no reference to where it's all made, I'm assuming it's China or another 3rd world country. But happy to be corrected!

Stunning labels in small town Juneau

I was super surprised to encounter some lovely Vince Camutos and great Nine West staple pieces while shopping in Juneau. This gem of a store should not be missed by anyone who loves quality shopping.

High quality footwear, and excellent service

I went into this store after having googled it, from NZ because I wanted to buy a good quality leather boot.

When I arrived, the selection was sufficient for me to decide on a particular boot.

Initially the size I required was not in the store and the excellent salesperson said she would take about 10 minutes to go to their sister store up the road to get my size.

So we went next door to the cafe for a bite to eat, and came back.

The boots I bought were made in Morocco and are a quality boot, full leather and reasonable price.

I am happy to say that I bought my boots in Juneau as there is no way I could get this type of quality from my local retail store in NZ.

Shoefly was everything I expected, and more.

If you are a serious shoe/boutique addict watch out!!This store is visually attractive with shoe brands not found in most places.There is a small but perfect collection of clothing & accessories-rain ponchos from Britian ,exclusive silky tunics,adorable caps.The owner Sydney was so friendly & a talented buyer rightfully proud of her store.I could have unloaded my whole wallet in there!There is a sale section BTW.This store was in my top 3 in my Alaskan visit.LOVED it!

Best little shoe store in the world!

I have traveled all over the world and always come back to my local shoe store in Juneau, Alaska. They have the best selection of shoes from comfortable and everyday shoes to fancy and fun cocktail shoes! I find joy just walking in there!

I can't describe all the delicious shoe finds at Shoefly. The shop has so many delicious shoes and is like attending a shoe party. The shop is decorated so cute and they have more than just shoes.

My Favorite Shoe Store!

Found an ad for this store in a brochure before leaving for an Alaskan cruise. Made a bee-line for the store as soon as we were ashore and NOT disappointed! Saw a pair of boots that caught my fancy the minute I walked into this small friendly quaint store. The boots were the best feeling ever and also found a nice comfortable paid of sneakers. Laurel was the best! Friendly, helpful, and she shipped by boots and shoes so they were waiting for me when I got home. Plus, she wrote a very nice thank-you note....how many sales people do you know that would do that just for shoes! I may have to make a trip back to Alaska just to visit Shoefly!!
