The Captain and Crew were very nice and friendly. Sarah did a great job on history and general information of the area and what to look for in spotting whales, etc. This was one of the better tours we have been on. I would recommend this tour!!!

School bus ride from pier to kayak tour area approximately 20 minutes. Bus operator (Summer hire from California) kept a running narrative on the local area and attractions with random trivia as well. Arrived to area where we were given a short briefing and the opportunity to use port-a-potties before beginning. Strip off unneeded clothing, shoes and backpacks which are... More

Booked the Seahawk-ride and Rainforest Island hike as a cruise excursion. Johnny, the Seahawk captain, was excellent and did a great job telling us about the landscape and wildlife as we rode. We even got a close encounter with a juvenile humpback, as well as many bald eagles. The rainforest trek was beautiful, although the guides didn't seem quite as... More

We took the Mendenhalk River float trip. Had a great time with our guide Brett. He gaves us a ton of information about the glacier and the river. Warning, the water is very cold and even though they give you gear to help keep you dry our feet got cold because they were sitting in water. Despite cold feet I... More

Really, really enjoyed our kayak trip to Mendenhall glacier! Rachel was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable, & fun. We didn't care for our van ride to the park or the salmon bake, but the kayak trip was great!

We booked this trip via the excursion desk while on a Princess Cruise to Alaska; I think that most of the adults in our group considered it the best of our three excursions. The canoe ride offered a great way to see the Mendenhall Glacier up close. Steve, Henry and Destiny (from Alaska Travel Adventures) were our guides and co-canoers.... More

We were on the 7 days Alaska cruise with Celebrity Infinity. We booked the excursion "JU99 Mendenhall Lake Canoe" on Aug 11th with the cruise line, which were ran by Alaska Travel Adventures. We had Liam from New Jersey as our guide and had a fantastic experience. Liam was very informative from his personal experience, and cheerful on the 5... More

As part of an excursion from our Alaskan cruise, we visited Liarsville and took a scenic but tour to the Canadian boarder. The Liarsville stop was really fun. Lucy, Polly, Ann and John put on a little show for us and it educated us on the realities of the Alaskan Gold Rush. Our bus driver, who's name I can not... More

Fun and educational. Our guides Eric and Steve were great and made the best out of a rainy day. Incredible scenery, bring your paddling arms and a light pair of gloves as the water is 34 degrees and it is 20 degrees cooler near the Glacier.

Our kayaking experience was fantastic! We did the 4pm tour with an outstanding and good looking guide who added to our experience in a positive, fun way. The paddle out to the glacier was just right and we had perfect weather. When we got close to the glacier it was so beautiful and mesmerizing, I could have stayed out there... More
