One of the stops of our Alaska Cruise was driving through the Tracy Arm Fjord’s Passage. It was amazing to see how this huge cruise ship navigated through this narrow passage, with these real high mountains on both sides of the ship, to within 500 meters of the Dawes Glacier. Then besides, the ship had to make a u turn... More

This was our second Alaska cruise . The last had been on Royal Caribbean's Radiance of the Seas in June of 2007. We saw Tracey Arm on that cruise but because Radiance entered Tracey Arm in the early hours of the morning we were not up to see the cruise into the fjord but were awakened in time to go... More

We stopped at Hazelton as the second major stop on our way back to Calgary. We camped in Hazelton ( New hazelton ) Skan Campground...it was lovely there by the side of the river that joins Skeena. There's a bay that forms that is walk-able from the campground...the campsites are nice too, framed by bushes and give you a feeling... More

Opened our curtains to see icebergs as we cruised by and later got the skiffs out to go closer to the North Sawyer Glacier - couldn't get all the way in to South Sawyer Glacier. Lovely waterfalls in the area and somewhat elusive seals, birds, etc. stayed here for a few hours, such a peaceful beautiful spot.

My family and I were set to see Tracy Arm Fjord but were not able to enter due to ice safety. Instead we entered Endicott Arm to see Dawes Glacier. What turned out to be a disappointment turned into a sight to be forever remembered!!!! The glacier was spectacular to say the least!! Blue color that I've never witnessed before... More

Like previous reviewers, our cruise ship, the Celebrity Solstice, was unable to get into the Tracy Arm Fjord and diverted into the Endicott Arm. The views along the way were breathtakingly beautiful. The blue of the drifting ice caused by mineral deposits was gorgeous and the Dawes glacier was magnificent and imposing. We were fortunate to see the calving process... More

Its one thing to see these magnificent things on nature shows, but to actually be there and see the size, colors and surrounding area all at once is absolutely breathtaking. We did an Oceania cruise through the inside passage what a great experience seeing a small part of Alaska.

Our cruise was scheduled for Tracey Arm but diverted to Endicott Arm due to ice. We had a great view of Dawes Glacier. The scenery down the arm was remarkable. Absolutely breathtaking. Tooks so many photos! The glacier was gorgeous. We saw some seal lounging on the ice in front of the glacier.

We were going to Tracy's Arm on the Celebrity Solstice but had to go down the less traveled path of Endicott Arm due to icebergs at the entrance of the fjord. Truly magnificent in every aspect. The geography is unbelievable! And the colors? Breathtaking. The water, the glacier, the fjord, all morphed throughout the journey. One view is more incredible... More

We disembarked from our cruise ship onto a catamaran to go up into the Tracy Arm Fjord but were unable to as there were ice-bergs blocking the entrance. We then entered Endicott Arm Fjord & up to a beautiful glacier were we watched & heard the ice cracking & breaking off into the sea. The glacier & floating ice-bergs were... More
