Store had a lot of the same shirts and hats like the other stores. Shop around to compare prices if you have some time. My wife bought a ULU knife at this store, but found a better price at another store.

Went to trip advisor prior to a trip to Alaska to see what my fellow travelers highest rating were. I think this got a high rating for the service and quantity of selection. I was disappointed because the selections were just like any other touristy store. Nothing really unique here.

If you want something truly locally made and not shipped in from overseas, go to this store. They have some wonderful jewelry, masks, and other items made by local artists that are beautiful. Good prices and the staff is incredibly helpful and nice.

I went into this store on a trip to Juneau looking for a gift for a friend...not only did I find a BEAUTIFUL piece of jewelry, but the staff was very friendly and helpful! If you are in Juneau I would definitely suggest stopping by to check them out. I wish I could've bought everything in the store!

caribou crossings is a tourist shop, selling things Alaskan ( of Quality) to nick-nacks (again of quality). Compared to other similar shops the choices were good, the quality as already stated was excelant, the staff attentive, and knowledgeable.

The girls working in the store are fabulous! They are Juneau natives and gave us the best info on Juneau must-see sites! The store has beautiful artwork by local artists!

Beautiful selection of quality jewelry, local photography, and other locally made items. Unique items in a range of prices. It's easy to find a memento or gift, and the sales staff is friendly and helpful.

local craft art work and carving. Not cheap junk works, so you will pay a little more, but you wont be able to by down in the lower 48 at this price

After reading the reviews on tripadvisor, I knew that I wanted to stop at Caribou Crossings when I visited Juneau. The store is located next to the cruise ship docks on Franklin Street. It's less than a block walk from the closest ships. The store did not disappoint. The shop has a nice selection of hand made Alaskan crafts. The prices were competitive and not ridiculously expensive. The prices here were cheaper than numerous other shops that I visited in Alaska. I bought a couple of Christmas ornaments there. One was a santa painted on a piece of drift wood and the other was a carved face surrounded by animal fur. Both ornaments are lovely. I wish that I would have bought more at this shop. I figured that I would buy more gifts for my family once I arrived in Anchorage. Unfortunately, I didn't like the selection of Alaskan made goods in Anchorage. Next time I visit Juneau, I will definitely visit this shop.

We were happy to bypass the touristy jewelry stores catering to the rumbling herds from the cruise ship by finding Caribou Crossings. Recommended to us by a local, this store featured items from local artists allowing us to bring home a piece of Alaska. The service was terrific; I have been looking for a fox pendant for a very long time and Amanda took my information so that I could be notified when the next piece arrived.
Thanks Amanda

What time will you close on Monday, Sept 9? We have a few activities scheduled but want to be sure to get to your shop before closing time!

Hi! I'm taking an Alaskan cruise and will be stopping at Juneau on 8/28/17. Your shop sounds fantastic! Is it near where the cruise ships dock? I'm doing an early a.m excursion of Tracy Arm Fjord & Glacier Explorer, which should be over around 3:15pm, and would love to visit your shop once that it is over!

It is very convenient once you're on Franklin Street, which is the main shopping street - it's about halfway down, on the right, if you're walking from the dock area. Very easy and the shop is so great and the women who run it are fantastic.

I would like to purchase gifts all through the year, but would not be able to travel to Juneau that frequently. I really like the works by Lisa McCormick and would like to buy more of her works. Do you have postings on line? Marty Hill

Hello Marty! Thank you for getting in touch with the Bou Crew! We love to stay in touch with our customers all year long. Because of the one of a kind nature of Lisa's work, we don't have online postings, but are always happy to share the pieces we have via email or text photos. Its an old school one-on-one approach, and we love it! You can email me at cariboucrossings@gmail and let me know what you're interested in anytime. Sending smiles from Juneau!
