From the helicopter flight into the glacier, to the amazing experience of steering our own dog sled through the ice, we considered the outing a flawless expedition. Holding puppies at the end of the trip was just a bonus. Thanks so much to May for showing us a great time and making all of our friends back home very jealous!

This was a great way to spend the day in Juneau. Helicopter ride to the dog camp on the Mendenhall glacier was smooth even on a rainy day. The dogsled experience was a thrill we won't forget. Everyone got an opportunity to ride or drive in each position and meet the dogs and even some new puppies. Though the operation... More

The tour begins with a helicopter ride to the top of Mendenhall Glacier. The views of Juneau and the area of the glacier are incredible. The helicopter ride although short, approx. 20 minutes to the glacier was well worth it for the views. The dog camp at the top of the glacier was amazing. Over two hundred dogs that are... More

Starting with the helicopter ride, crew and pilot they were amazing and very attentive. When we landed we were greeted with cheery people and dogs. May, our sled instructor, was friendly, adorable, helped us with photos and made every moment we had on the glacier most informative and filled with smiles. This is an incredible experience if you're considering it.... More

We took a helicopter ride to the glacier. Then we rode on the sled with the dogs pulling. We also got a chance to meet the puppies!

Our family took a Carnival cruise and did this sled dog excursion on the Mendenhall Glacier. It was an amazing once-in-a-lifetime experience. The crew was professional and gave us an experience that we will never forget. Thanks so much for making our vacation a bucket list adventure!

We took a helicopter out to the Mendenhall Glacier and went dog sledding with Alaska Icefield Expeditions. Our musher, Joanna, was just darling. She was quite competent working with the dogs, informative and friendly. This was absolutely my favorite excursion on our trip.
