Absolutely amazing! Becca and Emma were so knowledgeable and fun. We learned so much about climate, plants, glaciers and wildlife in Alaska. I would absolutely recommend this trip for anyone who wants to experience true Alaska nature.
We saw Orcas for about 1 hour. They were amazing. They came almost under our boat
Then we searched for humpbacks. Found one far away. Slowly got closer and the whale breached twice. It was just fantastic
Our guide Kim was just awesome. Captain Lee...More

I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed your time with us back in 2009. We would be pleased if you decided to join us again! If we have a guest who would like to opt out of the walking portion of the tour we do have to option to provide complimentary access into the Mendenhall Glacier Visitors Center while the rest of the group is on the trail. You would simply communicate your request with your guide and they would arrange a meeting place and time to rejoin the group and continue with the rest of the trip. While we typically reserve these passes for our guests who are unable to complete the one mile walk we are happy and able to accommodate this individual request. Thank you for your question and please let us know if you have any others. We look forward to having you join again next season!

Thank you for your interest in Gastineau Guiding Company and our Cruise Shore Excursions. While we are a locally owned and operated company we are also a wholesaler to the cruise lines which frequent our Juneau port. That being said, you are in luck as we offer our wonderful, small group and fully guided trips directly through Disney Cruises. Reserving your shore excursions through Disney’s online service is the fastest, most convenient way for you to confirm your tours. Disney will handle the request and in most cases have your tickets waiting in your stateroom when you arrive. If the cruise ship delays or if there is inclement weather, the shore excursion department will take steps to inform you of any time changes or cancellations. And if your tour runs late, the ship will remain in port or they'll arrange transportation to the next port of call at no expense to you.
Please let me know if you have any further questions about our shore excursions, and if you have any problems pre-booking through your cruise line, just give me a shout.
Thank you for your question and we look forward to having you on tour!
All the Best,
Ashlynn Antoni – Sales and Marketing Manager – Gastineau Guiding Company
