This place is set up to sell you stuff then churn you out. There is nowhere to sit and enjoy the beer. There is no view, no warm environment. The main room is pretty small, but 2/3 of it is taken up with merch. In...More

We walked off the ship and found the Alaskan Brewery gift shop and booked our tour. It was a short bus ride with a friendly driver and a fun beer loving small group. Priced adorably and the beer is so good! Looks like a fun...More

This is a top destination if visiting Juneau. The tasting room and tour are amazing. The story of how this brewery got started and how it is operating today is inspiring. Don't miss this opportunity if you are in the area.

The only downside is this place is located in the factory district and takes some time to find if you are driving yourself. The beers are great, tours come and go, the atmosphere is exciting and all you can expect from a tap room.

This was worth the tour. Great history and loved the tasting afterwards. Make sure you give it a try.

Went here after a whale watching tour. Loved the story of how the brewery started and how involved the owner still is in the day to day running of the brewery. The young man who gave the tour obviously loves his job. The beer was...More

Very well done. These people obviously have a passion for what they do and their beer shows it. Four tastings during the tour/talk and another five after. A fun stop!

Decided to go to the brewery while in Juneau. The Alaskan Brewery Shop in town offers rides to the brewery from the shop for $25 a person, this includes a tasting. We had a child and a person who doesn’t drink so we decided to...More

No, you can make it the day you arrive at any of the Alaskan Brewing company stores in town right off the port. They have a shuttle that takes you out to the brewery and back.
