It was a lovely day that we arrived in Juneau. We had not planned anything so we decided to go up in the tramway. It cost $33 USD each. Once up the top there was a great view, a couple of trail walks to do, a souvenier shop, a raptor centre? that has one injured bald eagle. (I think they... More

Probably not the best day to be using the tramway as the entire town was fogged in but still decided to go for a joyride. Enjoyed the view until half way up when the fog kicked in. Given the fog I think the whole place was going at half speed. It looks like they are geared to deal with huge... More

The Mt Roberts tramway was fun. First we had a clear day! As we ascended up the mountain we saw bald eagles in the tree tops. Once we arrived at the top there were a number of things to do, trails to hike, a movie on the local tribe and a souvenir store. The views from the top and along... More

It was around $60 for two people to go up the tram. It leads you to a restaurant/bar, gift shop, and some trails. It does offer some decent scenery. Trails are kind of steep so if your not in the best of shape, be prepared. It was a once in lifetime thing for me to do so we did spend... More

This was part of a 3 part excursion from a cruise ship. It was also the last thing we did that day. The views from the top were amazing !!!!! Might take about an hour or 901 minutes of you time but so worth it.

I took the tram with my 76 year old mom and 11 year old son. It was an easy ride up and down the mountain, but not much else to do except look at the sprawling vista. All the cruise ships looked like little boats from that height.

Enjoyed the tramway. Workers were VERY nice, got a little history along the way. Great views if weather is nice.

Fast trip to best view of area and fine dining at summit. Lines can be long descending the summit at prime time.
