Be sure to pick a relatively clear day to make the trip! Visibility is practically unlimited over the water areas and the town of Juneau. The restaurant serves very pleasant fare. If you're on a cruise boat (we were not) be sure to leave enough time to get back down the mountain. There is a walking trail at the top... More

Hiked up from historic Perseverance Trail on a well marked trail. Continued on to Gold Ridge and great views of Juneau, Douglas, and the Gastineau Channel. Bring your hiking boots, and prepare for some awesome views. Spend $10 on good at the restaurant or gift shop and take the Tram down into town. Totally worth the $10 for the ride... More

Went on the cable car to the top of Mt. Roberts to see the Raptor display and the view of Juneau. The view was very nice but the Raptor attraction was closed - very disappointing. Were able to take a walk on one of the well worn trails behind the gift shop. Advertising makes you think you will see 'wildlife'... More

The location is right in the middle of town, it is reasonable and the purchase price entitled you to ride all day, the staff was friendly, clean and the resturant was outstanding.

The tram takes you to the top of the mountain you will see the most amazing view and get perfect photo ops. We saw bald eagles nesting on the way up. For one ride it is a little pricey but you have unlimited trips for the entire day.

My wife and I visited the Mount Roberts Tramway on May 2, 2017 which most everyone should do at least once when in Juneau. Yes, it is for tourists but the view on the tram going up and coming down is spectacular. There are gift shops at the top; a rescue eagle from the raptor center; breathtaking views; and of... More

Took the tram with co-workers for dinner at the top (Very reasonably priced, well prepared, diverse menu). Took an after dinner walk on the alpine nature trail (~1 mile), and then choose to hike (steep and muddy) back to town.

We decided to take the tram because we had a few hours to kill before our tour, and i am so glad we did. The views are amazing, the staff is beyond friendly, and the visitor center was so educational. I would highly recommend anyone who wants to save money and not do an expensive excursions just doing the tram... More
