Flow AK was a peak experience of a long trip around this region of Alaska, and is not to be missed. I wanted a day of whitewater rafting, did the reddit research and chose Sixmile over Nenana in Denali, then found Flow AK, and couldn't be happier how it worked out. The owners, operators, and guides are all top notch, as is the river, and they combine for an entertaining, exciting, easy and unforgettable experience. The staff knows a lot about the river and rapids and the town, including a lot of history. They're extremely talented, communicative, and safe paddlers that will get your body pumping with adrenaline and soaked from head to toe while maintaining total control. It does help to show up with an ability to swim, knowledge of how a paddle works, and an adventurous attitude, but Flow AK has created an all-inclusive, very accessible, and great team experience, and they do everything the right way, from equipment, safety, training, and customer interaction. The half day, 3 canyon trip wasn't cheap, but you get what you pay for and these guys deliver everything you could possibly want at the highest level, plus the river/canyon is very pretty in the summer. Absolutely worth it

Just rafted with Flow AK for the second time because the first time was so freakin’ amazing!! They do not disappoint!! It’s a rock solid crew who are there to keep you safe and make sure you have an absolute blast! The gear they put you in is quality, their briefing thorough (but not without humor), photographers like mountain goats and recommendations beyond your time with them spot on!! Others might have a hot tub, but if the gear doesn’t leak, it isn’t necessary as the stoke they share warms you from the inside out. I could not be happier and I didn’t even manage to keep myself in the boat the whole time!! Stop reading and book now. You won’t be disappointed!!!

I’ve done now 4 float trips with Flow and all 4 times I’ve been blown away with the amount of professionalism, personalism, and fun times I’ve had on that river. The guides I went with Gareth, Chris, and Mike and they are all very experienced guides. The cool part about their trips isn’t just the white water itself it’s the photos they show you at the end. The photos are great and are a good way to remember the trip. Would defiantly recommend this to anyone looking for a fun and safe time on six mile creek!

Aa a boat full of people in the rafting community, we had the time of our lives! The cabin where their gear was held felt cozy and well maintained. Scotty was extremely encouraging and knew exactly where to have fun with us the whole way down the river. The blue water and scenery around us was mesmerizing and had us feeling like adventurers in a fairytale. We look forward to coming back next season during high waters!

Great trip with great guides! I highly recommend the Six Mile Creek via Flow AK. Our guide, Scotty, made sure we were all comfortable and shared his great knowledge of Alaska and Six Mile Creek. My group had a week long trip in AK, and this river run by Flow AK Rafting was by far my favorite experience of the whole trip! Book it - you will not regret it!

From start to finish, this tour is a blast! Our guides were Scottie (with a heart above the i), Mike, Chris, and Eon, and each one of them was fun and professional. You can tell they all are passionate about river rafting and they know how to navigate the technical river that is Sixmile. They made the Class IV and V rapids feel safe. Scottie guided our boat and kept us laughing with his stories and tall tales. Book this trip! You won't regret it.

Super fun white water trip! Really fun group of guides. They were great about safety, and even have a safety boat ahead of the rest of the rafts, which I've never seen before. The drysuit is amazing and really works! One of our party was ejected from the boat, and was able to get back aboard without much fuss. The water level was low when we went, and not much wildlife, but the trip itself was really exciting!

Wasn’t even thinking of going on a rafting trip. Had a friend talk us into it and it was the highlight of our week in Alaska. Will definitely be back next year and you can count on us rafting six mile creak again. Crew kept us safe and totally concerned for our safety above all else and having a good time secondly. It was the best rafting adventure for us to date!

I went on the half-day 6 mile Creek 3 canyon rafting trip and it was amazing! The guides did an excellent job making sure everyone was prepared and comfortable, and there were multiple opportunities to back out before the last (and most wild) canyon. The dry suits worked excellently - even after falling in on the 2nd to last rapid I stayed dry everywhere below my head.
The rafting was a ton of fun and even with Class V rapids it still felt as safe as possible. Our raft did almost flip on one of the Class Vs and myself, another rafter, and our guide were all thrown. But prior to entering the canyon our guide went over the game plan for each rapid and we were quickly able to get to a safe area and all get back on the raft.
I would recommend all three canyons to anyone who is willing to try it. The guides are well trained and have your back. The canyons increase in difficulty from and if at any point between the canyons you feel uncomfortable you can always opt out of continuing.
