My sister and I traveled to Honnah Bay and booked a tour through Misty Bay. There was a communication with our tour and they quickly made alternate arrangements for us and we were able to go and even spot a number of bears!

Amazing afternoon on the water to see lots of whales, sea lion and otters. The only down side of the trip was having to go back to the cruise ship. The boat was comfortable and not crowded. Everyone had a front row view of the whales.

We saw tons of wildlife (whales, orcas, eagles, otters). The boat was very nice and safe, the 2 person crew was great and very informative. We had a wonderful time and strongly recommend this tour!

Was a last minute decision. Braved booking an excursion not through the cruise. Was more overwhelming in Alaska. Booked through shore excursions.com. It was the best decision of the trip. The whale watching was soooo much better than Juneau. We saw probably 20 or so whales. Some from a distance as we high tailed it a feeding ground (GREAT call Captain Josh!) And we got to see the famous Bubble Net Feeding. I just about died from happiness. We saw otters and a sea lion. Some porpoises but come on the whales were what we wanted. The boat was small so we could be flexible. The weather was crummy in the AM so they were willing to keep delaying the trip so we could get better weather. By the time we left (3 hours late by team vote) it was GORGEOUS and so much more enjoyable. Our naturalist did a great job - Andrea. Our driver Keith was great. Best excursion of the trip so far. Problem is we were spoiled. As we sat in the Viking lounge to watch for whales as the cruise ship went back up we werent as excited as everyone else pulling out their binoculars as we had just been so close to a group of 12 whales feeding ;) i know such a difficult life!

This tour was about 3 1/2 hours. Relatively small boat with only 16 persons. Snacks and drinks were provided. We saw sea otters, including babies, many porpoises and a few humpback whales. The whales weren't too active that day and we only got really close to one. We saw sea lions on a buoy on the way back to the dock. Overall an enjoyable day on the water.
