Jeremy and Barb were amazing to work with. Both of them were very professional, and I would highly recommend booking your next fishing trip with this company. Barb was an excellent communicator, and Jeremy made me feel comfortable throughout my time on his boat. Catching a 25 pound king salmon is something I will never forget. I will be booking my future charter with this company, and I am looking forward to being on the water again with Jeremy soon.

Capt Avery, Lindsay and Cori aboard the Whistler ensured that they put us on the fish and had bait in the water the entire time. We caught our 20 person limited within the allotted time. It was a great experience.

The crew worked hard to get our 2 halibut limit on the half day charter; we got them all in 30 minutes! They also allowed us to take more than normal pictures and did the hard job of filleting. (Tip: take them up on getting your fish processed when you get back, WELL worth the cheap price!) They didn't mention seasickness, though, but we remembered Dramamine. Don't forget it in case the waves are choppy! Our ride back was much smoother.

When we booked the half day halibut fishing tour the day before we were told that there were 9 people booked for the tour and that there might be up to 15 people. When we arrived at the boat the next day at 11:30 for the noon departure there were already at least 20 and ended up being around 25 passengers. There was not enough room for everyone to sit inside and not enough room for everyone to fish either. Covid-19 precautions consisted of one bottle of hand sanitizers - no masks and no distancing. The crew worked very hard and insured that everyone caught their limit of 2 halibut. However, when filleting the fish they kept the halibut cheeks, the best part. The crew was friendly and personable but were clearly overwhelmed by the number of people on the boat.

We booked a 3/4 Day trip. All sounded good at first. It took forever to get to where we were going, over 2 hours, and then had to move a couple times. Understandable, so that wasn't so much an issue. We then were only catching 10-15+ lb halibut. Everyone caught their limit and while heading back, we watched the deckhand cut up the fish for all the guests on board. When we arrived and docked, each were handed their supposed share of fish each party caught. We were given two small white bags, which were to have been 4 halibut and 1 Cod. We didn't question it at first, but my husband saw a large gray container still full of halibut from the excursion. We left our bags with the local fish processing company recommended by the charter company. The next day we went to get our fish, and the bags said, and we paid for, over 20 lbs. We thought that was odd and too small. If you read about what you should yield, it's 50%. If we had four 10-15 lb halibut and 1 cod, it should have been over 20 lbs. However, we got back to the town we were staying in and went to a local processing business to buy a box for transit on the plane. He weighed everything in the box and it was 20.45 lbs. He then weighed the frozen fish and we actually only had 18 lbs. of product, not even 20 lbs. So, where did our fish go? I think the deckhand did a fantastic job working her butt off, but something is not right here. Would never recommend this charter. I know others in the area with much better reputations, as we have learned in hindsight.

We booked two days of Salmon and Halibut Combo and had an absolute blast on the Ocean Devotion with Captain Jeremy and Deckhand Justine. From the very first phone call with Barb to book the charter, we were provided helpful and excellent service. Because I was planning an anniversary surprise for my husband, I wanted to make sure I packed the right things for him, and Barb was super kind and patient, giving me ideas on lodging and clothing and willing to answer multiple questions, via phone or text.

We feel extraordinarily lucky that we were placed with Captain Jeremy and Deckhand Justine both days. They rock! They each have such a genuine, friendly, and laid back manner and they worked super hard to get us on fish, keep us on fish, and get us our halibut limits. Jeremy has an intuitive understanding of ocean, currents, and fish and Justine is a crazy hard worker who makes a super difficult job look fun and easy. This was our first time fishing halibut, and they both gave clear and insightful instructions on how to catch, how to get the fish to boat, and what to do each step along the way. They'll keep you fishing to the last possible second and do all they can to make your day memorable and enjoyable, whether it's taking time out for photos or watching the wildlife. On the way back to dock on the first day, Husband saw some whales in the near distance, and Jeremy rerouted us so that we could spend some time watching them surface and dive. Above and beyond! This was a memorable fishing adventure, indeed, and we'll definitely book with Inlet Charters and the Ocean Devotion in visits to come.

Checked in with Inlet Charters just N of the Salty Dog and across the street. Got paired up with two older couples from Nebraska who were also staying at Gone
Fishing Lodge. After check in we all walked across the street and down to the docks to M37 where the Falcon was moored. Met Captain Tony and mate Mark. The Falcon is an older fiberglass vessel with seating room, in the cabin, for the six fisherman. Today the seas were not very choppy and the one hour run to the fishing grounds were comfortable. Captain Tony said we would arrive as the tide would be running in and he was right on. Anchored in 225 feet of water. Four persons had their halibut within an hour. Two of us took a little longer, but we also got a couple of nice cod. I would highly recommend Inlet Charters and Capt. Tony on the Falcon.

We had a great trip with Inlet Charters and Captain Jeremy. We had booked a trip with another provider who called us the afternoon before our trip and cancelled due to a mechanical issue. We decided to stop at Inlet Charters and see if they could accommodate us. To my surprise, they had two spots available for the combo salmon/halibut fishing trip the following morning. We were very happy. We went out with Captain Jeremy the next morning. He was very friendly, learned everyone's names, and worked really hard to get us on the fish. The morning started out slowly but, it's fishing, every day isn't going to be non-stop action. Captain Jeremy moved us off the salmon to the halibut and everyone go their limit. We caught a lot of cod and rockfish as well. Captain Jeremy really put a lot of effort into making sure that everyone had a great time and caught fish. He was also sympathetic and supportive when my wife and I were informed that one of our beloved dogs had passed away that morning. I can't say enough good things about Captain Jeremy. We would definitely book with him again.

Looking for a last minute trip for halibut and they were very accommodating and very helpful getting everything we needed. The crew was great and very knowledgeable and professional. They knew what they were doing and we caught some great fish and had a great half day of fishing. Only complaint was the halibut limit. Will be back for other trips in the future.

Four couples took a full day charter boat out of Seward on the Whistler boat. We were fishing for feeder Kings, but primarily caught Pink Salmon. The boat, captain and crew were wonderful. Everyone on board had an awesome time. We paid for ten spots so we could have the boat to ourselves, which was a great move as well. Plenty of cabin seating in case of bad weather on the whistler and a smooth ride.

Our trip was scheduled for Wednesday, but when we arrived the weather was horrible. They offered us to fish the next day and I'm glad we took their advice. I little bit of a travel hassle, but the next day was calm and wonderful. So, a great move!

Let me say also booking with Inlet Charters was a pleasure as well. I can't remember names so well, but she had a little grey hair I think (like me).

All in all a great experience and a great company to fish with. They made our Alaska journey even more special!

Thank you for the review. Yes I am referred as "Artic Blonde". You were on the Whistler which departs from Homer Alaska. You folks knew how to have fun and allowedyourselves to be flexable. It is true the next day after a big blow can be surprisingly calm.
