We arrived on a Thursday morning and thought the place was closed. No one at the cabin and no sign of life. We set off and walked the trails and saw.....plants. No wildlife at all. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here, but if you gave a spare hour, it's fine.

Nice hiking trails and overlook platforms. Skip the pricey touristy things and spend an afternoon here! Nominal fee and our family of 4 (mom, dad and 2 adult children) all thought it was worth it. Beautiful drive up there is great, too.

The Wynn Center is a hidden gem, and if you're looking for a place to stay, try the log home as a VRBO built by Carl Wynn. Birding is great, and we saw 2 baby moose with Mom off in the background. The paths are easy to travel and very secluded. A wonderful place to enjoy nature in Homer. And... More

We went to this beautiful nature center yesterday and it was gorgeous. We saw such raw nature in the most beautiful form and setting ever. We were disappointed that we did not see any wildlife but it was a great and beautiful nature walk.

Very comfortable walking tour on wood and plastic walkways. Guide was knowledgeable and informative. Mosquitos were not a problem as long as we kept moving

We did one of the guided hikes at the Carol Wynn Nature Center. It was beautiful and easy. The guide pointed out various plants and birds. We did not see any large mammals. It is easy to get to the Center, but parking is very limited. Be sure to wear bug spray. The entrance fee is nominal. A good way... More

A very good place to go if you want to hit some key birds, such as Wilson's plover and white-winged crossbills. Easy hikes that are not too long, but that go through interesting forest types.

I love the Wynn Nature Center. We are locals and still make time every summer to visit. They have a guided tour or just follow the well beaten path.

We recently visited and walked a couple of the trails. Based on the website I expected a bit more to see at the visitor center, but it's really just a gift shop with some information available about what birds and flowers are in the area trails. We missed the tour, which might have made it more worthwhile, but it was... More

Great hike to a great view. Even got close to a moose and her baby. Our naturalist was very knowledgeable
