A great way to see the unique areas of Kachemak Bay at a reasonable price. Spends a few hours in the wonderful seaside town of Seldovia then back to Homer. Expect to see TONS of wildlife and sea life often including Humpback and Orca whales.

We were so impressed with our experience on the Ferry. The crew was just great, the trip scenic and very convenient! On our return trip from Seldovia to Homer, one of our friends had forgotten his backpack in a truck of a Seldovia resident who...More

We decided to take the fast ferry so we could minimize our time on the water. The trip was smooth and we had sunshine. Scenery was beautiful, as every where else up there in AK. Large vessel with amenities so it was not crowded. Inside...More

You don’t need a car to explore Seldovia, Alaska. Hop the “fast ferry” from Homer to Seldovia with bicycles, a kayak, or your always-ready-for-a-hike dog friend. Dependable summer transportation run efficiently by the Seldovia Village Tribe. Keep your eyes peeled for whales, orcas and otters!

This ferry runs 2 times a day and is the quickest way to get to Seldovia without flying. It is also a large boat so it is better for people that might get sea sick

This ferry flies across the water and the smoothest way to go. Large two deck, modern, comfortable and roomy ferry that zips you from Homer to Seldovia in 30-minutes.

We spent five days in Homer, and were ready for a day trip away. The ferry ride was easy to arrange, no reservation required. We debated about bringing our bikes (an extra $60, $15 each way per bike). We were glad we didn’t bring them...More
