We visited for a quick wine tasting, but we ended up getting so much more! The gal working the tasting helped us with our dinner options and we enjoyed the conversation. We would have loved to have spent more time chatting. But we left with three bottles of wine and memories.

It was a fun experience tasting the wines and it only cost $5 per person for up to 8 wines (cost is credited if you buy a bottle of wine). The wines are not the usual Napa style wines with all grapes but focus on fruits. So if you are a true wine connoisseur you may not appreciate the wines as much. The employees were very nice. Note there is no place for RV parking. We were fortunate that it was almost empty that day and we could park across 5 spots but I wish they noted this in their ads (included in all of the tourist maps and brochures).

We LOVE Bear Creek wines! Every time we visit Homer we have to make a stop at the winery for a tasting and undoubtedly leave with a box full of wines. We are never disappointed. Inlet Sunrise and Blueberry Mirlo are our favorites this year. Always worth a stop if you're in Homer.

We paid $5 to try 8 wines. It was fun and tasty. I tried the sweeter variety and my friend tried the drier types but actually most of the wines are on the sweet side. They were so yummy it was hard deciding which bottle to buy. Most bottles are between $20 and $25. They have a cute gift shop and we also greatly enjoyed their gardens. Go! Do it all. You'll have fun.

This was our third visit to Bear Creek Winery and Bed and Breakfast. We stayed here about 5 years ago on our last visit also. The winery team is FIRST CLASS. Very friendly and the setting and grounds are just great. The rooms are quiet, clean and comfy. We will make it a point to stay again on our next visit. The wines are interesting and tasty as they are made with a blend of local berry's. If you are in Homer, you really need to stop by.
