We took their direct flight from Homer to Brooks Falls. We found the personnel to be friendly yet professional. The planes appeared clean and well maintained. Our orientation before boarding the planes seemed long and there didn't appear to be any urgency to get underway....More

My wife and I flew from Homer to Katmia National Park (and back) to watch the bears at Brooks Falls. Weather was perfect, pilot (Richie) was excellent. Great views from the air. Totally worth it.

My biggest disappointment was a Fail of Photography 101. They do not understand that photographers have to get on eye –level with their subjects, not look down on them from 40 feet up as we were. So lots of pictures of bears, but not one...More

We flew from Homer to Brooks Falls with Bald Mountain Air in late July and had a fantastic experience. There were lots of bears fishing for salmon but observing their behavior and interaction with each other was just as fascinating as their fishing styles. Our...More

Although most likely one of the more spendy things you can do in Alaska, this is well worth the money. Very courteous and helpful people and it's a chance to see some of Alaska that many others won't. But, keep an open mind as far...More

If you want to see bears, up close, in the real wilderness, then this is the place to do it. Is it cheap, no, is it worth it, yes. The planes take off and land in the water. The views from the plane ride are...More
