The library is in a nice location just off the main street of Haines. The staff is friendly, library is well maintained and they provide you with free wifi. Does help the cruisers to catch up on any msgs or information they need to check. Nice place to relax.

Thanks to the the public libraries along the northbound cruise from Vancouver to Seward. A very nice library; very comfortable and welcoming. Wi-fi is free but please donate to the library on your way out. They provide travelers like us a much needed service.

We visited during a port call by HAL to use Wi-Fi and catch up on e-mail. WI-Fi is free but donations are accepted at the main desk. We were there before they opened and the Wi-Fi was password protected so we had to come back when they opened. They apparently change the password daily. The staff was very accommodating. Many thanks to the staff for helping us.

It can be very hard to find free Wifi in Haines. This is the place to go. The free shuttle (about every 15 minutes) drops you off about 50 yards away. Also, why you tend to your email, others with you can peruse the books. This is a surprisingly good library. Try to buy something (like a T-shirt) or donate. This is a good resource.

The wi-fi is the best here and it is fast. Every week they offer different things to kids and/or family. They offer special speakers with different topics and they tell about the town. When I was there they were having a book sale and I racked up!!
