The view was breathtaking!!! It takes you up to the mountain top to the Seven Glaciers restaurant, museum/gift shop, and hiking areas. If you are not going to the restaurant the round trip can be costly.

Not sure if we did this all wrong but we paid the $25 to take the tram up and walked down from the top of the mountain. We were the only ones that did that when we went. Many told us if you walk up you ride down free. Others also said that walking down is much harder than walking... More

The staff said to be sure to go up early before our dinner reservation to enjoy the top, but other than a shop there wasn't much to do to occupy us until our reservation. Hiking is an option but we were dressed for a nice dinner. I guess it depends on what you are going to do at the top.... More

Great view from the top! Even on a day where it was a little rainy the view was still spectacular! It's had a different kind of view with more clouds covering parts of the maintains and the misty effect was pretty cool. I'm sure it's gorgeous on a sunny day as well but it was nice to see it like... More

While we were at the Blueberry festival we rode the tram to the top what a view we had. The day couldn't have been any better we weren't sure that we would be able to see anything but when we got to the top the view was outstanding the clouds opened up and were able to see the inlet

Beautiful ride up to the top of the mountain. Took the trip on our way to the Seven Glaciers restaurant. It wasn't the best weather that day, but the clouds go in and out quickly, so it was beautiful anyway in the way that Alaska is.

The tram is located behind the Hotel Alyeska. It takes you up 2000 feet to an area where you get a closer better view of the glacier and a good view of Turnigan Arm. You can then hike up even higher if you so choose. There is a really good but pricey restaurant up there but you will need reservations.... More

This tram is extremely smooth and the views are fantastic. It was well worth the admission price! Once up the mountain, you can go to s restaurant or shop in the gift shop.

It was a fun ride to the top but I wouldn't bother with eating in the deli. Take a picnic lunch or get lunch someplace else. Tram ride was quite enjoyable. Smooth ride, great views all around. Trails leading up mountainside and from the top. We rode up the tram to the top and enjoyed some great views of the... More

We enjoyed this ride...even on a rainy day. The gondola was a little crowded and they seemed to want that..apparently maximizing their trips. A few less people would have made the ride perfect. You pay one time and can ride it all day if you want. Thats pretty good. You also have an option for a combination ticket that is... More
