We thoroughly enjoyed hiking on this trail. We are not in the best of shape, but it was not too strenuous. We saw beautiful wildflowers and stunning views of the nearby mountains and bay. We will definitely make this hike again.
By accident, we drove to this place and had a wonderful scenic one hour hike. I saw some of the most amazing wildflowers ever and some interesting glacier formations, across the Kachemak Bay, that were different to the glaciers you see from the Homer Spit....More
Great views. Wildflowers. The signage is poor-- they don't tell you that the perimeter trails are not maintained in the summer --- so we "got lost"-- this is close to the city so you really can't be lost but we went for quite a while...More
