A nice short stop to read a little history of the Al-Can highway and the AK pipeline. Some of the old equipment is on display. This is a small museum with a very pretty garden, some interesting history and old relics inside and out.

The gardens are beautiful in the summer time. The hosts are always friendly and can answer the questions you have about the historical roadhouse. The museum is filled with interesting artifacts from the 1920’s. A must see in your travels on the Richardson Highway.

This is a free attraction which is well worth a visit, if it is on your route (not special enough for a specific trip out as it is so far off the beaten track). Good point to break your journey North (or South for that...More
