About
Reachable by hiking trail or four-wheel vehicle, Rarotonga's only fall is also known as Papua Waterfall, because water from the Papua stream spills down the cliff into a beautiful swimming hole.

You have to pay to go up to the waterfall and there is construction going on along the way as well as at the top. Kinda takes away from the waterfall as the noise of the construction was very loud. Lots of heavy equipment.

We took the scooter up the to waterfall but it wasn’t really a sight to see. After paying a small donation to enter the private property, we drove up on the scooter and got covered in mud since it had rained that morning. When we...More

Wigmore's waterfall is a nice waterfall a few kilometres off the ring road around the island. Visitors are now charged a fee ($NZ5) when they turn off the ring road. There is some roadwork occurring but the waterfall is nice to see.

It’s very worth the trip. Absolutely beautiful and so lovely on a warm day. Without a doubt a highlight.

Disappointing. Charged $5 at road entrance. No water falling from it and sign advising no swimming. Lots of rubbish around the walkway.

This was not what the pictures show, there is garbage everywhere which is strange because the Cooks are very clean. There is a broken water pipe hanging in the waterfall and it truly does not look anything like the pictures. Maybe we just go there...More

We battled with the road works to get to the waterfall so hiked up and were disappointed to find no water at all. Not much of an attraction but could be the lack of rain as well.
