Spend some time here to revel in the beauty of Rarotongan flora. It was a peaceful visit that mostly consisted of wonder at the plants. Also highly recommended are the lime quencher and lemon meringue cheesecake at the Hidden Spirit Cafe!

A beautiful place to visit. A hidden gem. Lovely cafe too. Bring some insect repellent though. This is well worth the visit away from the beach for a while. Great for photos .

Thank you Maria for your review. It is so nice that you enjoyed our gardens for all that they are worth. It is a labour of love for all of us. We are surprised that yo had a problem with mosquitos during your visit though. We take great trouble to minimise their presence including filtering all our ponds and also... More

A beautiful garden which looks like a labour of love - great place to visit to enjoy a quiet moment observing the various beautiful flowers and plants in a nicely landscaped setting. Make sure you check out the cafe - and the cheesecake there!

Thank you so much for your kind review. At the moment the garden is looking so good in full colour. Indeed it is such a pleasure to work within that as you say, makes it a labour of love. Thank you agin.. More

When you have had enough sun and beach for the day this is the place to head to. A relaxing walk in and around the many gardens. There doesn't appear to be any right way to walk around these gardens - it is just about walking and seeing the different varieties of plants. Obviously at different times of the year... More

We visited for the third time over about 10 years and were not disappointed ...the garden has continued to flourish and develop and the food was just as delicious as we remember. A great lunch enjoyed with friends. The lime quencher was a welcome drink at lunch and the salads had by our party of 6 all excellent. Garden entry... More

take a walk through breath taking gardens which get you away from the "hustle and bustle" of the road and you come out in the cafe - whether you stop or choose to wander the gardens instead, a nice spot to relax. The meals are really tasty, fresh and generous - we shared a salad and the famous lemon meringue... More

Lovely gardens to wander around, shame there is no labelling at the moment so you don't necessarily know what you are looking at. The food in the café was very nice, portions slightly small but at least that means you have room for the yummy cheesecake afterwards.

Thank you for your review. Your comments on labelling of our plants is a good one. In fact we are in the process of looking at the best way to do this. As we have 7 acres in total it will be a costly one and thus we are looking at all alternatives. However, we sorry we hadn't highlighted to... More

You could almost drive, or bike past but don't as they are beautiful tropical gardens and will give you an insight into what was most likely plentiful on the islands in days gone by.

We went to this place with great expectations but after all we must say it was nothing so special. Nicely done in some parts but if you compare this with others you will be disappointed.

The chicken salad was absolutely delicious. Café setting is relaxing and peaceful. Some of the garden areas are a bit repetitive with the plantings but still nice to see.
