This place is a must do!!! The food is as good as any high price restaurant on the island and a fraction of the cost. Best nights are Thursday and Sunday as there is a better selection. The Pit Stop stand and the Marie Nui...More

The whole of Rarotonga is surrounded by an outer reef, where the waves crash endlessly. Muri is the only part which has little Motu;s (Islands) lovey for canoeing and walking around and just to look at from the beach..

Muri lagoon was picture perfect, very pretty. Depending on the tide, it can be a fun place to beach comb and wade to the other little islands; although the waters can be very dangerous to swim when the tide is high, as we recently experienced...More

What a gorgeous spot! Unfortunately, failed wastewater systems in the area have polluted the water and it smells at low tide. Probably ok to swim in when the tide is in? We swam but were sad about the condition of the lagoon.

Muri Lagoon is a nice area to swim and canoe, especially as it seem cleaner than some of the other areas. It is also only a short swim to a nearby island. A cafe is situated close by.
