We are picked up at our accommodations and taken to the starting point on the north side of the island. The guide Bruce explained the history of the region and we began our assent into the forest. A couple of words of warning...have a big...More

This is a review of the 3-hour round-trip local nature walk not the cross-island walk. We concur with a previous reviewer and confirm that our experience (September 2017) was primarily Pa's natural ego trip and not our nature eco trip. Pa was charming, of course,...More

We did the cross island hike with Bruce. This was the highlight of our time on Rarotonga. We were so grateful that Bruce offered to take us even though it was a day the tour didn't usually run. There was just three in our group...More

I decided to give the cross island hike a go on the last day of our trip to Rarotonga. I was somewhat hesitant to book the trip because the weather had been rainy midweek and I didn't know what kind of condition the trail would...More
