I cannot express my gratitude enough. I've always wondered who gets on trip advisor to rate companies but after going fishing with Jason "Rooter" I couldn't help but go outta my way to give his outfit a positive review. He is very knowledgeable and will teach you the ropes. I've been doing all my life but I have to tell... More

Jason Simmons far surpassed my expectations! He was fantastic; He knew the spots, had the technique & was a great teacher. With Jason's instruction he enhanced my fly fishing experience, I am now hooked! Fighting these natives was a treat. "Tub" Rainbows & Dolly Vardens are the norm. Jason's equipment was top notch; Simms & G Loomis can't be beat.... More

Jason was an awesome guide and knew the river extremely well. We requested a Rainbow Trout and Dolly Varden trip as we were full of Silvers already. He drifted us through non-stop action on the Upper Kenai. Three of us were catching constantly, doubles and triples too. He pulled in to a few spots where we got out of the... More

We went out with Jason and Tige on a family trip on the upper Kenai on August 22 2016 from Sportsmans down to Jims Landing. I had my wife, two teen age girls and my 21 year old son who is also a fishing guide in Alaska. In short, Jason and Tige are uber professionals and I cannot give them... More

One of the top three things we wanted to do was fish for salmon when we were in Alaska. My wife and two daughters have very little fishing experience and none with salmon or fly rods. We needed somebody that could show us where to fish and how to fish. We found that in Alaska Salmon Chasers and in Tige... More

If you want to catch your limit in salmon and do it in a beautiful place where you can see more bald eagles than you can swing a dead cat at, go fishing with Alaska Salmon Chaser. It sounds like a big outfit, but it's just one fit and fun guy. And that's all you need. Jason Simmons made our... More

Our family of 4 had such a blast with Jason on the Kenai River. The salmon were late on their run, but still caught 50 fish total. (trout & salmon) Took home 3 large salmon. He has such a love & respect of Alaska and fishing. He outfitted us in Simms waders and his equipment was top notch. Taught us... More

Use these guys if you have the opportunity! We took our great uncle out here to alaska for his bucket list trip and he had a blast. Ask for Tige, he put us right on the fish and they nearly caught themselves. Very friendly and professional they even picked us up from our camp site so we didn't have to... More

I had a couple of friends coming up from out of state and was lucky enough to book a day of fishing with Jason at Alaska Salmon Chaser. We went during a time that was in between salmon runs but Jason let me know that right up front. When we arrived to meet Jason, he fitted us with Simms waders... More

An old buddy and I spent two weeks in Alaska fishing. This being my fourth trip and his his first. We started our trip fishing for trout around Talkeetna and worked our way down to Cooper Landing. Jason was referred to me by a resident of Anchorage as the guide to get. Lucky for us he did have one day... More
