Equipment was in excellent shape. The dive team was knowledgeable and personable. Boat only holds approximately 12 divers. I saw them work with experienced divers and not-so-experienced divers and provided equal attention. Short drive from the airport. They have pickup service. Highly recommend.

I did two days with my wife (double Nitrox dives), I rented a private boat, it had been all very positive, the professionality of Farid and his equipe, the boat and all equipment. Two wonderfull days, I did other dives here (Moore and Bora Bora) here the best in particular this morning dives (Dom site) full of (nine) female blacktip sharks. Definitely recommended

We stumbled across this place while hunting for a water sports shop to buy water shoes. Farid was kind and advised us to go to Havaii sports. As we were talking to Farid, I realized they were a dive shop ( they were under renovations and dive shop wasnt obvious from outside). I inquired about dives, asked for availability and took his number. A day later I called and left voicemail. Farid promptly returned my message via text. We discussed everything from rates to dive gear via text and voila, we were set for next day diving and snorkeling. On the tour day, check in was easy. Farid helped us calm our nerves and paired us with two awesome guides Nicolai and Yasmin. I only did one dive but was impressed with the dive master, his professionalism and friendliness. Yasmin was very patient with us too. I dove in few other places in French polynesia but this will always be my most favorite shop.

We have a sailboat in French Polynesia but in our years there, I had not dived on our "home island" of Raiatea. I amended that this past season, diving with Hemisphere Sub, a locally-owned dive company based at the Apooiti Marina on Raiatea. I had a great dive! I had time for only one dive, so chose a single-tank semi-drift dive through the Teava Piti pass. We've motored through it many times, so it was illuminating what I saw from this side. All of the guides speak fine English, for which I am thankful. The boats are large aluminum vessels with powerful outboards that make the trip to and from effortless and comfortable. They supply all gear in the reasonable price: wet suit, fins, mask and snorkel if needed, as well as tanks, regulator, and BC. Interestingly, they use aluminum tanks, so I had to adjust my weight requirements. Do take heed. All gear was in great condition. Nitrox is available but the dives here didn't require it. The dive itself commenced just outside the sea buoy as we dropped into the water. I'll never be a great diver since I have such trouble clearing my ears, but our guide was unconcerned about my clearing time. We descended to about 90-feet where the visibility was excellent and light very good. LOTS of sharks! Black Tips and Grey Reefs for the most part, circled us constantly: what a treat! We saw lots of jacks, eels, an entire school of ray (never seen that many before), and many others. I enjoyed my time and always felt that I was in good hands. Drift dives are my favorite since it's such an energy-saver to be gently carried along by the incoming tidal flow. There was a bit of kicking, of course, but if you haven't tried a drift dive, here's your chance. Our boat's been in French Polynesia since 2013, so I've had the chance to dive in a lot of locations. This was one of my favorites. I do like the business, too. They're experienced, safe and obviously like diving on Raiatea. Recommended.

We went twice with Hemisphere, in total three dives and they were all great. Great staff with good gear and a good boat. The dive spots were all three within 20 minutes by boat (leaves opposite the dive school). We saw lots of black tip and white tip sharks!
