An absolutely fantastic well rounded tour. Great driver, great guide who shared her knowledge of culture, past and present. Driving around the island gave us an overview of Moorea, along with plenty photo opportunities. I can totally recommend the bus tour which offers air conditioning and a new vehicle.

We were told by a guide to do water excursions in Bora Bora and land excursions in Moorea. Having done a water excursion on a previous cruise visit we booked an island tour using Viator. We met the tour operator on the dock and were part of a 14 passenger tour group in an air conditioned van.
Our driver/guide Angele was an older lady from Papeete who did her best to provide commentary in both English and French as there was one lady who spoke no English. I was embarrassed when a cruise passenger complained about the use of French. Angele was doing her best to keep everyone happy. The van drove around the island with photo stops while Angele explained about life on the island and the state of the tourist and hotel industry. She did her best to answer every questions.
There were stops at a beach (with tiki statues), lookout over Sofitel Moorea with rooms over the water, Cook's Bay, pineapple plantation with liqueur tasting and Belvedere Point Lookout. Getting around with the van was easier than the full size motor coaches used for ship excursions and less expensive.

On October 27, 2017, we booked a 3 hour shore excursion with Torea Nui Transports on the island of Moorea. The excursion was more than we expected for $50, the trip had some parts of 2 cruises offered on Princess for $80 and $120. We left in a newer 8 passenger air conditioned van so the drive was very comfortable and cool. Our driver, Mark, gave us a very interesting tour completely around the island. We had stops at the pineapple distillery for a few samples of the drinks they produce, several stops for pictures and the highlight of the excursion, driving up to Belvedere Look Out point. We were amazed to see large coaches driving up this narrow steep road up to the top at the lookout point. When we arrived there we were surprised to see a group of young dancers dancing the hula on the road. As they danced, several musicians played music. The view from Belvedere is unbelievably beautiful. We would recommend this tour for anyone visiting the island, they are very competent, professional and reasonably priced compared to Princess.

Booked this tour across the ocean in Papeete, was looking forward to it, but not at all happy with the narration of key places or the lack of.
Momma was more vocal with pointing out almost every school and church we passed then actually pointing out the views from the 2 lookouts, especially had to ask which island was across from Toatea lookout then her eating her food.
Definitely not worth the money & vans are not that comfortable.

We were really looking forward to this tour, especially after reading all the wonderful reviews. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t nearly meet the expectations. Mammi, our driver, was more like a maniacal drill Sargent. She drove like a bat out of hell. Many of us in the back of what seemed to be an old, dilapidated pick up truck with no shocks, felt extremely ill during and after the tour. Manni rushed us on and off the truck, barely explaining anything (rather, she pointed, yelled a few words, and then herded us on). What should have been a relaxing, educational and enjoyable experience was a complete nightmare. If you’re looking for a good tour of Moorea, I definitely recommend going elsewhere.

I have never driven an ATV before, but I had so much fun the morning we went on our tour. My partner and I each had our own ATV, but most couples share one ATV. It was neat checking out the island in this fashion. We made a few different stops and learned about the island from our guide who was very knowledgable. We stopped at the tropical gardens and had some fresh juice as well as checking out the vanilla plantation. The vanilla plantation was smaller than we thought it would be, but vanilla sounds like a very time intensive crop so I can't imagine if they had more plants. Probably the most fun was when we were just going off-roading through creeks and other areas. We throughly enjoyed this tour and it appeared that the other people on the tour with us also enjoyed it just as much!!

Really fun outdoor activity. The views are amazing! You get to see a lot of the island and it's natural beauty. You also see a pineapple and vanilla plantation. Can. It vanilla beans that are pre packaged for cheap. The tour guy "Chris" is really great. Fun attitude and keeps the whole tour lively.

Terrific way to see Moorea Island. Chris was a great guide for the 3 1/2 hour tour.
We drove up to the Belvedere Crater Lookout, up Magic Mountain to see the beautiful views of the Moorea Bays and reefs, drove through the inside of Moorea through the pineapple plantations and also visited a vanilla bean plantation in the Moorea Tropical Gardens.
So much fun on the back roads of the island, seeing things you would never see from the car! An adventure not to miss!!

We had so much fun on the Moorea Torea Nui Transports ATV tour. It is highly recommended. We rode through several streams, saw some beautiful overlooks, stopped at the Vanilla Plantation at the Tropical Garden. They had some great jewelry, jams, smoothies, vanilla, etc. to choose from. We saw pineapple plantations, banana trees and mango trees. We had a 1/2 day tour. It was very fun.

We will arrive by the ferry from Papeete. There are two of us. We will arrive in November. What would the cost be to pick us up and transport us to Bali Hai hotel? Thank you!
