Highly recommend the 6 hours tour

This is a great way to spend the day in beautiful Moorea.

The tour guides are excellent, Kaiku and Elvis. They boat used is very stable and has a roof covering as well as a sun deck, so it’s your choice.

They take you to multiple sites which features different types of sea animals. I swam with sharks, giant manta rays, turtles, and many varieties of fish and coral. The ocean is crystal clear and warm in Moorea.

Then you eat lunch on a small offshore island. Local island sides showcase the star which is fresh poisson cru (coconut milk ceviche style tuna with vegetables). It’s made fresh in front of you. I liked it so much, I ordered it at a fancy restaurant for dinner and it did not compare to one served on this tour.

I look forward to doing this trip again in the future!

We have been on this excursion several times and have so much fun. Wilfred and Mama are amazing guides, so knowledgeable and truly alot of fun. You snorkel with rays, sharks and fish, visit the coral garden and get a wonderful education about the island, bays, marine life. Lunch on the motu is fantastic, complete with a lesson on how to make Poisson Cru (absolutely fantastic) peeling a coconut, hat making and a great demonstration on sarong designs. I need to mention Olivia in the office is incredible, we had 3 cruises cancel so as you can imagine dates we constantly changing then we decided to just spend a couple of weeks there she was so understanding that we would just touch base when we got there to reschedule. Can't say enough about this team and the 5 star service!

Great day trip on Moorea lagoon. Very nice motorized pirogues. Usually go out in pairs, depending on overall size of the group. The guides are great fun and very entertaining. Particularly liked the singing and banjo playing while cruising through the lagoon! Saw some sea turtles from the boat. Then went swimming with black tipped sharks and rays on a shallow sand bank in the lagoon. Had lunch on one of the "motus", which are small coral islands on the edge of the lagoon. The guides showed us how to open coconuts, how to make the local raw fish dish with coconut milk we extracted ourselves. Also took us to a nice snorkeling place with a coral garden. Pretty much an all day trip. Not cheap but way worth it. You get to see the lagoon and the island from different angles and the variety and pace of activities during the day are great. Very good fun, highly recommended.

Book this exertion and splurge for a private boat!

What an absolutely fabulous experience. We did a three hour private tour, and it was worth every penny. Our captain “Nolte” was just fabulous! He did a custom itinerary just for us as we’re not big snorkelers. We swam with sting rays and sharks. We saw sea turtles. He took us to the most calm sandbar that was protected from the wind, where we could just walk around. He made my wife a hat and at the end dropped right off at out hotel dock. It was amazing. Thank you Nolte for the time of our life! We will be back!

INCREDIBLE day with Miti tours

Who ever is running this company deserves a standing ovation! The crew were outstanding, the boat is gorgeous and spotless clean, and the tour was incredible. We loved every second of our day with Moorea Miti Tours. Already talking about our next trip and booking with them again! If you are looking for a company to book a tour with, you won’t go wrong with these guys! Incredible day!

These guys are amazing! Wilfred and Mana were our guides. From the moment we boarded their boat we started having fun with them. Generous, warm, gracious hosts - they completely took care of us. We had a blast swimming with the rays & sharks and the island lunch was fabulous. They did everything they could possibly have thought of to make this excursion better than any other.
Were were on a Windstar cruise December 2018 and took 3 other non-windstar excursions ... this was BY FAR THE BEST! (I'm really sorry it took me so long to post this!)

Excellent snorkeling and lunch tour!

Went with my wife and 15 year old daughter. Nice outrigger that could hold 12 of us. Nice scenic views of the island and some history and ukulele. Snorkeling was good and we stopped at a small island for lunch, where we got to open coconuts, make hats and have a wonderful meal.

A must do for first time visitors to Moorea

Really great tour while visiting Moorea. Small friendly group. Guide spoke English and French. Guide paid attention to all and was fun living for sure. He provided history and stories. Boat ride was fun. Great looking lunch. Beer and maitais were provided plus water and juice. Sharks and rays were seen. Snorkeling wasn’t so good on the day we went. Really a must do for first time visitors.

Fabulous snorkeling and lunch tour

With Wilford as our captain we had a wonderful day! The excursion was very affordable. We had great fun fishing for coconuts which we enjoyed with our lunch. We had 2 opportunities to snorkel. Both sites were wonderful. We enjoyed a delicious lunch on the island and learned a lot about the Tahitian culture. It was a perfect day.

Perfect day and company!

We made the best decision choosing Miti Tours while in Moorea. Reviews were on point! Willfred was super kind, fun and nice to us. He was an amazing guide! It was my first time snorkeling with sting rays and sharks and I felt super safe with him. Our honeymoon started with an amazing local experience. It was good to have chosen a small group to go on. The lunch experience was one of my favorite parts of the day. We highly recommend this tour.
