This shop is absolutely amazing!!! It's the ONLY 100% handmade, local crafts store we found on the island (most of the other places selling crafts from indonesia).
Four artists exhibit their creations at Natural Mystic. Two of them, Julie and Nathalie, works and create on the spot and were very helpfull and friendly. Nathalie handpaints beautifull pareos. We could even look at her painting and order our own pareo, with our own design and colors.
Julie has a very nice selection of colorfull Tahitian Black pearls at a very reasonnable price and she also offers a large variety of purses and bags she creates in a vintage style with local fabric.
We loved the experience and highly recommend this place, for presents or for yourself!!!

The store has pearl jewelry, purses/bags, prints and soaps that are locally made from what looks to be mostly expat French artists (not indigenous based on those artists staffing the store). I purchased a dish soap bar for 1000 CFP from an artist who talked through her process for making the soap.

My husband and I were so lucky to find this shop. We are so happy we purchased some art here that is now on display in our home. It is a beautiful reminder of our trip to French Polynesia.

Something extra special about Natural Mystic is that many of the artists are present in the shop. They are able to speak with you about their pieces and are very accommodating. Was a wonderful experience overall.

What a surprise to find this shop! Everything there is locally handmade by 4 different artists. We found out that it was even possible to customize what ever we wanted as you deal directly with the handcrafters. At least you know you are buying and supporting local handcraft rather than imported ones. We also spent a very nice time talking to the girls who create there. Thank you for the experience!!!!

Very colourful, interesting shop. The place to go for a different souvenir of your holiday to Tahiti. Beautiful artwork by talented locals. A lot of the work is done on recycled materials so giving waste (which apparently is a problem on the islands) a new life.
