This lookout offers a perfect view of both of the bays Moorea is known for. Accessible via a good (albeit steep) road you can visit with your own vehicle or taxi. There are hiking trails up the mountain too if you are so inclined.

We hired a vehicle from Albert to circum-navigate the island which turned out to be quite a quick trip. One of the many highlights was going up Belvedere. Please be careful as the road up (and down) was mighty scarey, but worthwhile.
