We did the dinner and the show. We got a 25% discount the night we went so that made it an even better deal. They asked you to arrive around 6:15 which gave plenty of time to look around although there wasn't quite as much to see as I expected. It was a great place to see the sunset though. They then gave a short tour, which as others have mentioned was in both French and English. There were only about 10 English speakers and 100 French but they still took the time to explain things. They then opened the pit oven to show the food they had been preparing before we went to dinner. The food was good, a reasonably wide selection with a variety of things we had never had before. The show followed and it was very nice. They have different stories they do. The English here was a bit harder to understand as it was over speakers versus in person. But it did not matter much as the main thing to see was the show. Perhaps a bit spoiled by Cirque d Soleil and shows like America's got Talent, we might have had high expectations. They were not perfect, but they were authentic and looking back, they did put on a very nice show. PS. if you go and take pictures, don't hold your camera above your head, there are people behind you.

You can buy the show only ticket or go for dinner + show. Enthusiastic 'cast' performed dances from several Polynesian islands/nations. Bring water. Unfortunately, bar not available to show-only guests. Allow time to visit exhibits around the main stage area. Fire eaters and twirlers a highlight. Recommended.

We had only booked the show, without dinner, after reading some of the negative comments, and regretted it. I would recommend other travellers to book and experience the dinner and show. The show is amazing with Polynesian dancers and a fire show. Members of the audience are asked to participate. A very good evening, that could have been better with the traditional dinner - it will be for next time !

If you want to experience a traditional Polynesian show and dance, this is the one. It is only available on Tuesday and Fridays nights. There is a shuttle that picks you up at your location and drop you off. They give insight on Polnesian culture and explain how they prepare the food in the fire pit. Afterwards, the host guide the group on a tour on a little history lesson to show paintings, art, wood work, etc. Then, they provide a buffet dinner and show the audience different ways to wear a sarong for both women and men and grab members from the audience to participate. After a full dinner, you will watch the amazing dancing, fire show, and they will grab members to participate. It is a fun and memorable night!

We skipped the dinner and just went for the show. Just a heads up, the show is only offered on certain dates. It did not disappoint! The dancers took multiple opportunities to involve members of the crowd. Our favorite part were the fire performances which were very impressive! We highly recommend going to at least the show if you can’t attend the dinner! Well worth the money and time.

Millennials of trip advisor, save yourself the money and time and do NOT come here. This event is for old people, and we found out the hard way!

When in tahiti, it felt like a fun idea to come have a traditional feast and show. While the food was good and the show was fun, it sadly took about 2.5 hours of a very BORING “tour” before dinner and the show…
Making the whole experience somewhere between 6pm-10:30pm.

The tour before is not only unnecessary it is just awful. The staff are kind and good at what they do- but they have to translate the entire night back and forth between French and English which is why everything takes so long.

By the time it was show time, we were so bored & tired from the experience that after dinner we ordered a taxi to take us back the hotel skipping out on the main show.

Also, The chairs where the show is are also very uncomfortable. Think middle school chairs stuck on a podium. For what your paying it’s deff not a luxurious experience by any means.

I would give a 5 star review to the staff and main guy putting on the show. The format just needs to be completely revised to a 2 hour experience versus a 4-5 hour one.

While the Hilton show is much less flash, the food is better and it’s an appropriate length of why you expect in a show.

You’re welcome for saving your time! ❤️

What a fun way to spend the evening! We enjoyed a beautiful sunset, and then learnt a lot about Tahitian culture - everything from coconuts to traditional clothing! The host was funny and kept our attention. The food was delightful and plentiful. The dance at the end of the night was amazing! Definitely go and enjoy!

We read a lot of reviews before we booked and most were negative about their experience.

This is our review and we had a very different experience.

The tour is long for sure so you need to be aware of that if you do the dinner and show.

The welcome was very warm, and unlike other reviews we were catered to all the way in English, and even we would only among 3 other couples that spoke English, they would take the time to tell us in English and then in french. We had a great time and the dinner was plentiful, and very good. Although we never tried this before we are very open minded when it comes to new cultures and new food.

The show was awesome and very entertaining!

Yes it is a long dinner and a show but worth it, we will go again.

Experience the world and enjoy everything to it's max

I wasn't expecting the quality of food or the quality of the dancers and was very pleasantly surprised. Great show! Good food, Super glad we did this. They were great and picked us up at our house we were renting and took us back as we hadn't rented a car. I would totally do this again the next time I am in Mo'Orea. The fire dancers were really cool!!

We spent 4 days in Moorea (august 06) and decided to try the dinner and show at Tiki Village. We had a little apprehension because of a fear that it might be too commercial in terms of fod and show, but Tiki Village was a pleasant surprise.

The Tiki Village transportation picked us up at our hotel on time.

First, the dinner. It was totally outstanding! We had alreay eaten in several Polynesian restuarants (including a tradition Polynesian feast at a local restaurant), and found the food quality to be top notch. It was traditional Tahitian, and delicious. It was an elaborate all you can eat bufet, but with quality much higher than you'd expect in an island buffet. Also, there was an amazing variety.

The tour of the Village was interesting but a little short because the displays were not staffed, as they are in the daytime. They broke us up into little groups, and the guides walked us thru each exhibit of Tahitian handicraft, customs, clothes, etc. However, because we bought the nighttime show, this entitled us to come back during the daytime of any day we chose at no additional charge -- and they even offered to pick us up again. The day time experience is very diferent, with more detailed look into Polynesian life.

The show was the best I've seen anywhere in French Polynesia.
It was 45 minutes long, and featured some of the most amazing fire dances and other dances. The costumers were beautiful, and dancing first class.

The staff was as friendly as could be.

While I tend to shy away from touristy things, I wholeheartedly recommend Tiki Village. Do it early in your Moorea stay so you can go back during the day at no extra cost.

My wife enjoyed the show even more than me!
