This is a must if you are toruing the island. The 360 views are fantastic and you get a perspective of the island you will only get from this vantage point. A four wheel drive is required or you may be spending the night there. A guided tour is my recommendation as you will get some specific information with the... More

Go to ATV Moorea Tours to get the best views ever. ATV's are the best way to see the island and get to those hard to get spots in a most funnist way

We (my wife and I) were lucky to visit this attraction on a holiday. No Traffic at all. Which is good, do to the road is half the size it should be. The view at the top is totally worth the trip. We rented a car with Albert Tour , that its offices across the street from our hotel. The... More

This was my second time and it was wonderful. I came 4 years ago. It was so good I did the same tour again. We used Albert Co to book our ATV tour. Worth every penny. I am mad I can not remember the name of the guide, but there are 2 men that do this tour and they are... More

Awesome lookout point at the top of Moorea overlooking the beautiful lagoon and beaches. This is a private road where you have to pay $2 per person to go up. We took a jeep trip up and it was a great ride to the top. There is a small hike at the end to get to the very top. Beautiful!!

You can do Magic Mountain by yourself without joining a jeep tour if you have a car and are in good shape for an ENTIRELY UPHILL hike. First I have to thank the TripAdvisor reviewers before me who shared their knowledge -- I couldn't have done it myself without their tips they left in this forum. First, finding the trailhead... We used Frank Frank tours. The entire tour was 4.5 hours. Our driver was a Dutch ex pat and was wonderfully informative. The entire trip was awesome with the capstone being Magic Mountain. On the peak you can view the Intercontinental and Hilton resorts. Elderly and small children will struggle, but definitely worth the effort.

Whether it's hiking by foot or driving a local ATV 4X4, this is a must see to get a glimpse of the island. You will not be dissapointed.

We visited magic mountain as part of a "farm bike" tour with Dammons Tours. The track up is steep and windy but worth the climb.
