Albert Transport’s Lagoon Tour was a great cruise ship independent shore excursion from port in Moorea’s Opunoha Bay. Their website and Facebook page photos were very helpful, and email correspondence with the company prior to the cruise was great.
Evelyn was an excellent tour guide – very nice, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, helpful, funny, interesting and energetic. Her assistant tour guide Kaua and Captain Kana were also very helpful, nice and energetic, and they adjusted the itinerary to accommodate the weather and crowds. The boat was spacious and comfortable, with bench seats and steps to get in and out of the boat. They provided large plastic trash bags for us to keep our belongings dry in the rain. They accepted payment at the time of the tour via credit card, and accepted tips in US $, so we did not have to change currency.
We enjoyed cruising in the bays, snorkeling in the lagoon with black tipped sharks and stingrays, and then relaxing at the beach picnic area with rum punch, a delicious Polynesian lunch buffet and cultural presentations with music, dancing, instruction in preparing poisson cru (raw white tuna in coconut milk), tying pareos and cutting coconuts.
Albert Transport’s Lagoon Tour was a fun, active, interesting and educational day that was great for a first time visit to Moorea.
Cruisers should plan ahead to arrive on shore early via one of the first tenders, and then just proceed up the pier and stay to the right, to check in and find a seat on the boat docked on the right.

We can’t say enough great things about the Moana Lagoon Tour that we took through Albert Tours a couple of weeks ago. The guide was fantastic (wish I remembered his name) as were the musicians, chefs, and entertainment. The tour was the perfect amount of informative followed by plenty of sharks and sting rays. Great way to feel as though you’ve seen at least part of the island. The beach set up was really nice and the scenery was breathtaking. To be completely honest, the snorkelling was better other places on our FP trip but still entertaining. The other boat appeared to be mainly locals (maybe even fellow workers?) which only enhanced the experience. Truly never saw a single person without a smile on their face the entire day.

This is our second time using Alberts and we were not disappointed! We used them for our private transport from the ferry dock to our hotel, and also from our hotel to the airport! Both drivers were great! When we got to the airport, I realized I left mob straw floppy hat on the seat in the back seat. We still had 2 more weeks to be in FP and I was really bummed about not having my hat. A very nice local at the airport contacted Albert for me, he tracked down my driver, and my driver dropped my hat off to me at the airport! To me...that is incredible service that went above and beyond!
We also rated a scooter for a day from Alberts and had a great experience! Th scooter was a great price and in great condition! They picked us up at our resort and dropped us back off when we were done.
In highly recommend Alberts for all of your transportation needs and tours!

Do not trust these people. So we came to moorea from Tahiti and on the way we were given a booklet with all the things that they offer. Price was good so we gave it a shot, I emailed them and they never responded, call and still nothing drove to two shops and the were closed went to the 3rd one and asked if we can book for the next day. I showed them on the booklet and she looked at me and asked how I got this. Then took the booklet and went to the next room cam back with a new booklet and said this would be the new price. The new price was $130 more, that’s crazy . She said that the other price was for local people , if the was true then was was the cover in English? Why did she need to go to the next room, why did she take so long ? The Was a bait and switch

Terrible experience with Alberts Transport
We attempted to rent a car for one day during our trip for our honeymoon. We were told we could not decline the included insurance (in order to use our Chase credit card’s insurance). Nothing else was explained to us. We decided to cancel the transaction. The woman at the desk was extremely frustrated and rude. They couldn’t figure out how to refund the transaction on our Chase Visa. They called their credit card tech support and made us wait 15 minutes.
Finally the woman in the back room came forward with 8000xpf in cash to give to us. She handed it to the front desk woman. The woman then gave us 7000xpf! She claimed there was a 1000xpf transaction fee. I complained that there was no service provided and demanded a full refund. She was extremely rude and slammed the door. We waited and she came back putting the full 8000xpf that the other woman had originally given her.
Super rude. Super shady. Avoid.
I’ve never been to a car rental that charged your card before gathering your signature or discussing terms and then tried to take a cut on the side.

They offered to come pick us up at our hotel, instead we went there after our ATV tour with them. They gave us a discount on the rental since we had used them for 2 tours and also our ferry transportation. We wanted the car a little longer, we called and that was not a problem and we paid when we returned the car. They also took us back to the hotel when we were done. The car was clean and was all we needed. We had not planned on getting a car but we are so glad we did as the taxis are really expensive.

We used Albert Transport when we were in Moorea in early December. They picked us up from the ferry terminal to our hotel and back. We also booked a 4-hour island tour with them, which turned out more like 5 hours! Gerard was our guide and a driver. He was very knowledgeable and fun. We toured all around Moorea in open-air jeep. We sampled fresh pineapple at the pineapple plantation. It was very sweet and juicy! Next to Maui pineapple, this is my favorite!
This company is very reliable. Everyone we met from the Albert Transport was friendly and professional. We were very glad we booked our tour with them. They made our stay in Moorea very memorable.

We rented a car from them, and it was a great experience. We wanted an Automatic car, and theirs was the cheapest quote, by far. Excellent communication before the trip. The driver was ready to pick us up at the ferry terminal. Layla at the rental office was very nice and set us up quickly.
The car was clean, and worked well. Upon return, Harry asked us to keep our luggage in the car, then drove us in the same car to drop us off at the airport.
Quick, efficient and friendly. Recommended.

We did a 3 hour Jet ski tour with Albert tour... our guide Karl was fantastic. WE had such an amazing time... literally the best day on our vacation. The views, water are stunning and nothing as exhilarating than on a jet ski... don't hesitate books it!

We used this company for our private transportation from the ferry to our hotel. We used them to rent a car. We used them for the combo atv/jet ski tour. Every time they did not disappoint. They are a great single point of contact for different needs.

We stayed at Manava and it didn’t cost much by taxi. You shouldn’t be shocked by fare. Only caution... no taxis seem to be available after 8. Restaurants have their own transport to and fro.

Hi, I will be arriving Papeete airport on 12 March 2017. I would like to have a taxi picking me up at the airport and take me to the ferry terminal to go to Moorea. And then have a taxi from ferry terminal at Moorea to go to Linareva on the same day. Can you organise the taxi services? We hired a car from (I think) Hertz? They are in the lobby of the Intercontinental. We don't have an international drivers license, only NZ licenses and they accepted them. They are pretty relaxed..,
