We really enjoyed this 3.5 hour tour on ATVs and were able to book it the same day in a last minute decision to explore the island. They responded quickly back and forth with us by email when we inquired on the website. We joined the afternoon tour on one of the rare sunny days in late October. We had a beautiful day and fun ride including the Belvedere lookout, the pineapple fields, and the Magic Mountain. There were no dull moments on this fun ride. We were on a group tour with two French families. It was a lovely afternoon and we also enjoyed the short rest stop at local shop where we had some refreshments and a few souvenirs (Tahitian oils, bug spray, vanilla roots). I wish I could had bought more since the price was reasonable. There is a clean restroom there to use as well. One of the stops we went to was a creek in the jungle forest, which was mosquito heaven. I was bitten endlessly by the bugs within just 15 minutes. I highly recommend spraying some bug repellent on before you depart on the ride. The free pick up and drop off at the hotel was really a nice perk and they took pictures during the ride and emailed us the next day. We would recommend booking with them directly rather than through the hotels. This trek through the mountains and roads and jungles ending with a view from the top of Magic Mountain was adventurous and fun and our guide was great. Don’t miss it !

Itinerary: the ATV company comes to collect you at the resort, drives you 10-15 minutes to the location where atvs are stored. Short introductory explanation of the vehicles. Tour commences within 15 minutes of arrival.
Drive through pineapple fields, short explanation of harvesting process. Interesting. Next stops are a couple outlooks of bays - very nice. Good views of nature en route. The last 1 hour 15 minutes is the standard stops you make with any guided tour where they try to get you to buy whatever local crap they sell in the area. In this case we stopped at a juice shop, and then a juice factory. We were ready to be done once the guided part was over, so it was pretty annoying.
Plus side: guide was friendly, knowledgeable.
Improvement areas: guide didn’t bring enough water, atvs get very hot by your legs (motor heat), too long on the non-guide stops.
Bring sun screen, water, sunglasses, shoes that can get muddy.

Where to begin?? I have been in contact with the owners of ATV Moorea Tours since 2019, originally in our initial booking, then though all the Covid melee, until we finally arrived in 2021 and had our hopes dashed when the island went on lockdown---so no ATV Tour. Finally, we returned to Moorea, took our tour in July of 2023 and met the amazing owners Darleen and Toverau, and their adorable new baby! Toverau founded the company in 2017 and has a first class operation. He personally leads the tours. Once in the morning and again in the afternoon. This is not a kick up dust and spin through mud tour. Instead it takes you to the heart of the island where he shares the history and nature of one of the most beautiful islands in the world. The tour was incredible and relaxing. We stopped at a local food stand, before returning to the office, and had an enjoyable opportunity to support the local industry that offered art, crafts, and yummy treats for very reasonable prices. This is an awesome way to see the interior of Moorea and several of the large bays from a spectacular vantage point. The hiking trails follow the same path but the incline is intense. I highly recommend the ATV option and you can't go wrong with ATV Moorea Tours.

My husband and I had the chance to go on the 3.5 hour Raid Adventure Tour in May 2021. We absolutely loved it! We booked a group tour, but ended up being the only people due to French Polynesia having just reopened. We had so much fun driving through the pineapple fields, up to Belvedere, stopping to see the river eels, and ending with Magic Mountain. The views are gorgeous! Our guide was so friendly and shared so much about the island, culture, and local agriculture and animals.
We would highly recommend ATV Moorea Tours to anyone interested! Darleen made the confirmation and pickup at our hotel so smooth.

This was an amazing tour!!! Our tour guide, Tokerau, was so awesome! He took our family to a lot of wonderful sites (I don’t want to spoil it for you because each stop had some great local, tropical experiences). He was very knowledgeable about the history of the island and the different stops we stopped at. There were six of us and we got to ride 2 per ATV. The terrain was perfect, not too tough to maneuver. Darleen was the person I worked with there. She was so helpful and when there was a forecast of rain on the day we reserved, she was able to quickly find us a different day that worked for our group. I DEFINITELY would recommend this tour if you want to see the beauty that the island of Moorea has to offer! Our college age and younger boys all loved it!!

Fabulous way to experience the island of Moorea! The views are spectacular and at times we felt as if we were riding through a beautiful and lush rainforest. The acres and acres of mountainside pineapple fields and fruit trees were amazing. Not only is Moorea beautiful from the vista points of the Belvedere lookout and Magic Mountain, it is also so beautiful and scenic from within the interior of the island that you get to experience from this ATV Tour. Also is a stop where you get to see and touch freshwater eels if you are so inclined....we did :) Highly recommend!!

We booked this tour last minute after getting to Moorea and seeing how beautiful the island is and wanting to explore more of the interior of the island. I'm glad we did, it was a visually stunning tour and the stops at the various points of interest were awesome. Very knowledgeable guide and nice new ATVs. I would highly recommend this tour.

What a fun day! The ATV tour on Moorea is an absolute must. Toohki (may have spelled his name wrong) was such a fun guide and made sure that he spent adequate time with all of the travelers on this trip. He took us to the some of the prettiest sites on the Island and made sure we were all safe on the Quads. We had so much fun getting to see and learn about the areas and culture on the island. Toohki is a very good guide who instantly felt like a friend, and took some awesome picutres for us all. We wish him and his girlfriend Darleen nothing but the best! Highly recommend to all travelers in Moorea!

My husband and I took this tour during our honeymoon and we had the best time! We had to rearrange our schedule a bit due to weather, but ATV Moorea made it easy for us!
This tour started right across from our hotel (Intercontinental Moorea) and took us up to Belvedere Point. Along the way, we stopped to learn about local agriculture, take photos, learn about the island's history and topography, and taste local jams. We also stopped to grab some mangos from a fruit stand! This was a lot of fun and we would recommend this to anyone visiting Moorea!
Our guide was one of the owners; a lovely French woman with expansive knowledge about the island. This is a locally owned and run business and they do an incredible job of making tourists feel like they fit into the flow of the island.

This ATV tour on Moorea is an absolute MUST when traveling here. The scenic tour was incredible and the knowledge gained about the island was incredible. The adventure gave such insight to the culture and history of Moorea and the beautiful views were breathtaking. Mana made a great excursion PERFECT! His passion and energy made our entire group feel at home and grow close with one another. Could not recommend enough booking this excursion and making sure you have Mana to be your guide!

I wore shorts a tank top a baseball hat and sneakers, you're going to hike to the top of the mountain once you reach the area where you get off your ATV. I would definitely suggest comfortable outdoor attire and good comfortable shoes. It is so amazing you're going to love it
