Visited with 4 adults and 3 kids ages 11,9,7. Got the Quick Pass for two olderst girls who jumped on every ride. The others were “special access” which allows you to get into general lines. There is an option for no rides but simply general access to the park. There is a small kid section ages top off at 7-8. There is a spectacular marching band at the end of the day. Fireworks and great food options. One of our was celiac and found enough options. I suggest you don’t stay until they close. Emptying the lot takes 40 minutes—be prepared to wait. Otherwise leave early. Also consider arriving early to park near the exit. Be patient if caught in the exit after 8 pm.

This is an adventure park with a purpose. The park's motto is "healthy children help sick children". Costa Rica´s Children´s Hospital is financed by the profits of this park. So if you visit, you enjoy and leave a bit of your money for this excellent institution.

Is very close to San Jose and is very secure place, the security is a most here. Pueblo Antiguo is a copy of the old Costa Rica which is beautiful and they have typical costa rican food restaurants and coffee places.

Do not - I repeat - DO NOT visit this place expecting anything even remotely like a Six Flags, Busch Gardens or beyond.
Fun times, sure, but modest attractions with short ride times. This place contributes greatly to the National Children’s Hospital so it’s beloved by locals. They also have great senior employment policies and price ranges to stay financially accessible.
Stay away from it on weekends unless you want to waste half your day standing in line, Fridays are great days to visit.

Very small theme park but offers lots of value in exchange for the low entrance fee. The park also offers lockers to store your stuff and a decent-sized food court. We spent less than two hours since there was only a handful of adult friendly rides but definitely something to do to pass the time!

This park has many rides and they have been adding over the years. They all seem safe and fun. The food is reasonable and the parking accessible. I am from Florida however and the theme parks have super high standards here. I grade the food much more reasonable in CR but the rides cant really compare so I give it a solid 4

Me and my wife went with our daughter and despite the fact we both dont like extreme attractions like the Hammer, the Disc, or the Boomerang roller coaster, we paid for the "special pass" which gives you access to 99% of the park attractions, for all us three with 24.000 colones (45 USD)
The park have a point called Tio Conejo Plaza, in which the attractions are not extreme and are oriented to kids, still adults are allowed to use all of them except the kid bumper cars(they are too small, even for big kids) and they are actually fun, there is a minitower, a boat that works like the disc, and a "small" roller coaster and other attractions with can result fun for both kids and their parents.
Then classic attractions are scattered around the park on which both parents and kids can have great moments, like the bumper cars, the octopus, the Crazy shells (modules if form of sea shells that spins around a center and themselves at the same time) among others. There are aquatic attractions too, like the Caribbean Splash(consist on a boat that enters on water after sliding from a high height), the Pacuare, (a rounded inflatable boat that goes down on a slide just to enter in a artificial river) and the Reventazon(which consist of a boat going through pipes at high speed). In most of the "extreme" attractions, kids over 1,20 meters are allowed to use the attraction if they are with an adult, so a nice chance for both kids and parents to share a nice (or scary) experience.
There are a pair of trains(call it trains but they actually goes on the street) that goes around the park, a very relaxing attraction. Also there is Pueblo Antiguo, where you can find buildings made in the "old fashion" and other stuff like a restaurant you can lunch a "casado" a meal coming from the Costa Rica culture. There are events running all the afternoon (not all days, check the event board first) like dancing, music or culture exhibitions.
The best thing about the park, is the allow you to bring your own food(there is a food court with most of fast food people likes) so there are a lot of tables you can use for your lunch time, or also you can go up east of Pueblo Antiguo and find a place were there are farm animals for exhibitions and plenty of grass field to make a picnic with your family or friends.
A very nice place for a comfortable price?

No paga?
Written June 19, 2017
coincido parcialmente con las dos respuestas anteriores. cuando se ingresa al parqueo se paga ahí mismo el parqueo pues es una única cuota por todo el día. luego de esto se camina a la boletería general, y es aquí donde se paga por las personas que van a ingresar si no van a montarse ni participar en ningún juego la entrada es gratuita. sí no las tarifas son como siguen;
