Very enjoyable and informative tour of San Jose. Sergio shared a lot of history. Maybe more time at the market would be nice, but overall recommended.

The bus trip with lunch was a good overview of San Jose. The tour guide was very informative and took the time to acknowledge each of us on the tour. Only draw back, there are not any restroom breaks except at the museum and at...More

However, you shouldn't advertise an air-conditioned bus if you don't plan on turning on the air-conditioning. That aside it is a solid tour for anyone that is looking for a quick taste of San Jose. I loved the art museum and the theater in particular....More

My last tour for Costa Rica was the VIP City Bus Tour. I was very close to not going but decided in the end to explore San Jose. San Jose is very different from Monteverde, Quepos or Manuel Antonio because it has a bigger population,...More

Good combination of bus and walking, nothing strenuous. Saw the highlights with some time for shopping in the Artisenal Market. Our tour included a live musician, and lunch. Can definitely recommend to others.

First of all, the San Jose luncheon bus tour was excellent! The tour guide and musician who entertained the group on the bus was a pleasant surprise. My traveling companion and myself were picked up from the Casa Roland Hotel on September 22, 2018. The...More

I went on the day tour, and went inside the stadium. You only go into the theatre lobby with the original marble statues, not the actual auditorium.

It stops at an art/craft type place & also at the central market where you can buy stuff. It does not stop at places for general shopping though eg malls

Hi. They come to your hotel in a small van and then take you to the bus tour start near the National Theatre. Your hotel will know how to contact them.
