If you're looking for the best zip-line guides in the San Jose, Costa Rica area, look no further than Canopy La Carpintera. Diego and Juan were not only extremely professional, but easy-going, fun, and open-minded (I was a bit nervous prior to zip-lining, but that completely went away after meeting these gentlemen). The energy and vibes were also extremely positive. I would definitely come back here the next time I visit! Gracias por todo! Phil

Diego. Juan and Richie were all great. The trip up the mountain was difficult for me but Diego was an excellent motivator and very patient while waiting for me to catch my breath. This trip is well worth the money and I highly recommend to all. A wonderful experience.

We had an amazing time at Canopy la Carpintera. We were coming from the Irazu Volcano (very conveniently located just between the Irazu and San Jose) and called ahead to make sure we could get in. They let us start a little later than their last tour at 1, which was great since it was our last chance to go zip lining before we left the country. The guides were friendly and made sure we were all taken care of. The location was so beautiful, jungle everywhere and some great views of the valley. You need to be in "reasonable" shape since there is some hiking involved. We drove up most of the way, but we also had about a 20 minute hike the rest of the way up. Most people can do it if you pace yourself, no problem if you excersise regularly. I paid for their photos and they emailed me a link a few days later. Great photos!

We called that morning and asked if they had space for us that afternoon. they reserved our spot. We came on a slow day in March and my family of four were the only ones with two guides. Diego and Juan were great. The hike at the beginning of the trip was a bit difficult for my Dad, but the whole rest of the trip was phenomenal. We absolutely loved the Carpintera Canopy tour.
