We visited the museum on the last day of the school vacation of the Tico's and when we arrived there was a huge line for the ticket windows. Luckily we heard you can buy tickets online, we were directed inside of the building where there...More

We went with two kids under 4, so that should be factored into the equation. The museum is really good for kids who are above 4 years old, since it looks like there are many great, entertaining activities for them. Our kids were a bit...More

Great for kids under 12. Lots to see and play with. Took 6 kids and by the time they got back to the hotel, they could barely walk....skipped dinner, took a bath and crashed. Thank Goodness :-)

There were so many neat exhibits for our 3 year old and one year old. We spent a couple of hours there and could have easily done more. It was a great way to spend a rainy afternoon.

here you can enjoy yourself with different shows, exhibitions, and if you have kids it is the best place to take them, it is very educational too.

If you came to San Jose with kids younger than 10 this is a great option. Will learn about Costa Rica, dinosaurs, farm, profession, history among others. It's a half day plan but there is almost no place to eat and it's near nothing.

Hi, Nancy! San Jose, the capital city is about one hour from the coral reefs in the Pacific Ocean and four hour distance to the reef in the Atlantic coast. In both senses there are excellent roads.
