I live nearby and the park offers me a lot of great activities. You can go for a run there, to take walk or have fun during the weekends with a lot of different activities.

The park is a popular place for people to relax, exercise, and picnic. Near the National Stadium plenty of restaurants nearby.

A wonderful resource in the City centre. Always full of activities, many which you are made welcome to take part in. Particularly at weekends the park is buzzing with activity as local families make their way here to enjoy the park.

A pretty and well maintained city park. Lakes, walking paths, baseball diamond, track. Replanting to native species. Well used.

We were a bit disappointed upon visiting this park especially as it was a recommended attraction in a few guide books/websites. The park was very dry and dusty and seemed to be fairly run down. The water in the pond was an unsightly brown, as...More

The park is rather large, with the stadium being the centerpiece. There was a game while we where there, but security prevented us from getting close enough to see much inside. The rest of the park is OK, kind of run down but lots of...More

The park is always busy because there is nothing else to do here. It is a nice park, but like all roads and pavements in Costa Rica in the paths are in terrible shape
